Postal workers avoid this place! A Horrible experience every single time I entered Atlantic Uniforms. They have a very small area for postal uniforms. No good selection at all. Their shoes run in "half sizes" only. So, if you are a size 9, they would try to talk you into a 8.5 or 9.5 instead of your true size. Really??!! I think they do this to save on inventory. One time I went there, there was only one lady working the floor. She made her way towards me. Instead of greeting me with a hello or welcome, she asked me if I can "Hurry Up" because she is going on lunch soon , then I would have to come back in a hour. What kind of customer service is that??!! That was so Rude. Who on earth greets their customers like that? Do they forget we the customers are the ones who help put food on their plates? They would sew a postal patch on the front of a fitted stretch-fit baseball cap that looked much better than the regulated postal caps. One time I ordered three of them. They told me they need time to sew the patches on the caps. They will call me when they are ready. I received a call the next day that they are ready. I rushed there after a long day of work in traffic to make it before closing. Once I arrived , I was greeted with confused faces. They told me the hats were not ready. I showed them my received call from Atlantic on my cell phone. I told them someone from here called me to tell me they are ready. I told them they just wasted my time and my gas to come here for absolutely nothing. I asked them to make it up by adding an extra hat to my order of three hats at no additional cost for my troubles they had caused me. They agreed. The next day I received a call that my hats were now ready. When I got home , I took the hats out of the plastic bag. Three were fine but one had the postal patch sewd on very crooked!! I guess they didn't like that I got a free hat out of their mess up. They purposely sewed the patch crooked on that one free hat. So, i can not enjoy wearing it. It was so crooked I had to toss it in the garbage. I will never enter this store again in my life! I avoid Washington Ave at all cost because if I pass this store , I get sick to my stomach of all the bad memories I have from here. Save yourselves from all the headaches. You deserve better than what Atlantic Uniforms has to offer you. Find a new store or just...

ATTENTION POLICE RECRUITS 2023!!! This is the best place to come and get your uniforms. This is my first time here on July 1, 2023. Before I came to this location which was recommended by my department, I was a little skeptical about it just like any store so I decided to read the reviews. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion I get it. But when I came with two other recruits with only 8 days left before the academy starts, we was assisted immediately at the door. The prices are very reasonable also considering everything going on with the economy today. But they will let you know what’s necessary now and what you can get later. Which is nice to know I had a choice. We was assisted right away to be fitted and they bag our equipment. These guys knew everything we needed. Just tell them your academy and department.

Shout out to Donna!!! Aka the Italian aunt I never knew I had lol. Great staffs here. She was the best out of many. There was another guy (staff member)at the fitting rooms he was great and the other staffs double checking and bagging everyone’s clothes and equipment was great too! The staffs made me feel very comfortable and held good conversations. They congratulated us which was very nice.

We (me and my boys) literally came to here late to get fitted and they got us in and out. very respectful, very understanding about our academy dates, they all worked together as one, great quality and excellent customer service. it felt like a family business and I do apologize if it is that and I’m not aware.

As a precursor, the average person won't bother leaving a review if they are satisfied. You only really see the negative ones or really pleasant ones. I have been there twice this week for academy fitting and I was met with very courteous and professional staff. They make sure to greet and try to help any walk-ins and will dedicate their time to help you. I would always recommend coming during slow periods especially if getting fitted since expecting full attention when the place has a handful of customers is unreasonable. It helps to call ahead of time to confirm they are stocked with the equipment or clothing you need. Also, I find complaints about poor quality unrealistic. They simply carry your common names and if it is anyone that should receive quality complaints it is the companies that make the product. Their prices are reasonable and custom work is done in a timely fashion as long as you don't hit busy periods like academy inductions when they get...
