Wow!!! Where do I begin! Yesterday was an amazing life experience and I have to thank Selys and her team for that. From the second I walked in I felt welcomed and pampered like a celebrity. My husband was even treated with such welcoming respect. I was a little nervous he wouldn’t feel comfortable or maybe out of place but that was not the case at all! Everyone there treated the both of us with such love. The glam team had me feeling so confident with my gorgeous hair and makeup. I instantly got a confidence boost especially after putting on the beautiful dresses. I loved how the hair/makeup glam and outfits were part of the package as well. Saved me a lot of stress and time worrying about one less thing while being pregnant. All you have to do is literally show up and everything before hand is already taken care of, to every detail.

The lovely Selys herself discusses everything with you from day one. All that we discussed throughout our appointments was noted and beautifully presented the day of the photoshoot. As for the photoshoot itself.. she and her assistant guide you all the way. No practicing or experience is needed one bit. Selys helped with my posing from head to toe. All you have to do is listen to her guiding and your pictures will come out amazing! They cheered me on the entire time! This studio is a no judgement zone. Pregnancy is hard and they know it so if you are feeling nervous or not so confident in yourself just trust me it all goes away instantly with these amazingly supportive women. They are your biggest cheerleaders the entire time! I did a total of three maternity looks. One with my husband and two solo looks.

Since they made me look beautiful that then made me feel amazingly confident which lead to amazing pictures in the end. Which ultimately lead to countless beautiful pictures that were just too good to chose from! You will feel that overwhelming flattering feeling that all your pictures are just too good! I couldn’t believe that was me in those pictures. Selys gave me my inspiration looks and more on top of that. Thankfully Selys guides you the whole time and makes the selection process easier for you. She tells you what to look for in each picture to every detail. My husband himself had a hard time choosing because he himself absolutely loved every single one! Such a flattering feeling. I’ve never seen him so interested in looking at pictures of me and saying “WOW” for every one. At one point he even jumped out of the couch with his eyes and jaw wide open!

Once we selected our pictures my husband and I left feeling so excited and cannot wait to receive our pictures. I walked in feeling unsure about my new pregnant body to walking out feeling like a confident beautiful pregnant woman. Selys will be our new family photographer. We thank her so much and can’t wait to work with her again...

It truly saddens me to not give five stars. I came across Selys on social media and was so impressed with her work I inquired to book as soon as I could. I had a phone consultation with her assistant who was great and walked me through all the steps and different things so I could put a deposit down and lock in my photography session. The reason I came across Selys in the first place is because I was interested in having a milk bath maternity shoot which I saw she did. I was informed that starting in June they were charging extra for milk baths given all the extra work that had to go into preparation. I paid my session fee on 5/29 so I was told that I wouldn’t have to pay extra because I inquired about it before the date that they started charging extra. I was also informed that they usually have you come into the studio to do a consultation so that you can explain what you want and how you want but due to Covid it would be a zoom meeting instead which was fine. I wasn’t told when my zoom consultation would be until July 7th and was only given an option of that Friday within a 4 hour window. I picked a time and unfortunately the day before I had to reschedule to a later time which gladly wasn’t an issue. For whatever reason when the zoom consultation was supposed to begin I’m not sure if we missed each other or what but we never got to have our zoom chat. I was assured it wouldn’t be an issue so I was confident going into my appointment that everything would go as planned. I was coming from NYC so with traffic etc I was about 20 minutes late. Because we didn’t have a consultation we had a quick discussion on what I wanted (different dress, colors etc) while I was getting hair and makeup done and I was told that I would have to pay the extra milk bath fee even though when I booked it was before June. Granted, I got a reduced price which I was okay with but still not what I was originally told. I will say that Selys and her crew went above and beyond to accommodate doing the milk bath because I don’t think she was informed that I even wanted one before I told her but none the less she made it happen and it was great. I know I was late so I had less time but I did feel rushed through my session. Everything else went as planned and I received my finish products but I have to say I am not completely in love with my pictures. They were edited but there is somethings that may seem minor to others but important to me. Regardless this is not a review to be negative just simply telling my experience and working with the public, understand you cannot please everyone. From the process to reaching out and booking my maternity shoot to receiving my photos, this has been such a great experience!!! Where do I begin? The catalog for the photoshoot options are amazing and there are so many options, what I love the most is that hair and makeup are included which is one less thing you'll have to worry about the day of. Her team was very prompt and accommodating to booking the date for my shoot. I was reached out by the photographer, Selys in a timely manner as stated to discuss the details and ideas for my shoot.

The day of my shoot came, the studio is big super cute and very clean ! Everything ran on schedule, on time, they really have it down !! My hair and makeup came out beautifully, everyone there was super friendly and accommodating. At the time of my shoot, I felt like a star, I was inexperienced but Selys and her team guide you the entire way. My boyfriend and I loved the experience overall , once you finish you get to go over all your photos and she helps you to pick out your photos for your package (you will be overwhelmed at how beautiful they will come out, so be prepared!) and we made our selection with her help.

She will send you your photos between 1-2 weeks, which we just received ours and we are in love and very happy with the pictures!! Overall I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a great experience. I definitely will be coming back to her to take more pictures in...
