Dollar General — Local services in Bellevue

Horrible went down hill, haven't been there in 5yrs and today went in with the kids for drinks and a snack used self checkout needed help asked for assistance stood there for almost 10min got Ignored to cancel something our son scanned got tired of waiting so waited in line and cashier questioned me about the self check out and goes to me weren't you just at the self checkout ya not working needed help couldn't cancel an item and he goes on the sparklers, I go ya, well you need employees to add them, I go no they scanned I didn't want them and he got a little attitude and goes well I don't think I can cancel that order on the screen now. Maybe instead of keeping people waiting when before there was anyone in the checkout line and then make us wait longer and not cancel it out. I worked in a store and never walked past customers that needed help especially when they were first in line. Literally walked passed us several times and looking at them waiting and ignored us. Never again shopping there, need more workers and know what...

This place is perpetually understaffed, and it seems beggars can't be choosers; some staff in particular is intensely and purposefully unhelpful (in commenting on products, or grumbling to customers who just ask for an item out of reach) and absolutely acts as if they're trying to scare away customers by simply acting a little "off" or strange in a way that's difficult to describe other than see something, say nothing but get the heck out of there quick.

Went into store to pick up some paper products as I usually do every week for 2 years. The staff are fantastic especially this guy I think his name is Robert and the manager tarny or something like that. These 2 are funny and love to make a customer feel good about shopping there. Robert will go above and beyond to help.

Last week I stopped in and there was a new female working register with reddish hair and if I'm not mistaken she worked at the Family Dollar down the street. This girl has a bad attitude and acts like we are disturbing her when we wanna check out. I think she hates men because she was more friendly to the lady in front of me.
