THIS IS JUST OUTRAGEOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I usually stop by this Pizza Hut on my way to work to grab lunch. Today, I came by in the evening for a takeout order and unfortunately witnessed something very upsetting.
A young female Dasher walked in to pick up an order. She didn’t speak much English and politely showed her phone to indicate she had a pickup. The employee at the counter responded with clear irritation, saying the order wasn’t ready and told her not to “wave her phone around.” Then she went as far as saying she wouldn’t serve her at all.
I was shocked and honestly embarrassed. The Dasher looked deeply hurt — she walked out to her car with another order, clearly trying not to cry.
A few minutes later, she came back and quietly asked again about her order. It was sitting right there in plain sight, already ready, but the same employee again refused to hand it over, repeating that she would not serve her.
The Dasher had no choice but to cancel the order and leave.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable. People — including delivery drivers — come here to do their jobs and bring you business. I hope Pizza Hut management seriously reconsiders their approach to customer service and pays closer attention to who they hire.
It’s not just about pizza — it’s about how you...
Read moreWe have been ordering from here for a few years now, always pick up, and they seem perpetually understaffed and stressed, though always polite and courteous regardless.
However, this last time was a bit much. You can see the prep area while in the lobby and one of the gentleman preparing pizza was sweating heavily, leaning on the prep counter with his full arm on the prep area, sweat dripping on the board as he wiped his head with his hands, while not wearing gloves, and going right back to prepping the pizza, putting it down where his sweaty arm had just been resting. Another gentleman also in the back was sniffling, wiped his nose with his hand and up his arm, also no gloves, and continued prepping food. We were a bit stunned and didn't want to make a scene so left with $30 worth of food but never opened the bag, we tossed it and ordered from somewhere else.
If you are really craving Pizza Hut I would definitely recommend pick up if you order from here so you can see the conditions of the kitchen on that particular day, again the people here are nice and polite but whether its lax standards or a staffing issue the hygiene here seems to be...
Read moreIt was a very busy night I am sure because the Steelers were in a playoff game 2 hours after I placed my order but when I arrived at the store I let them know I was outside waiting because I do not have a cell phone for them to call me. They said they would bring my pizza to my car as soon as it came out of the oven which would be shortly. Fifteen minutes later I went back in to make sure I was not forgotten and they said it would not be long. Ten minutes later I went back in and they asked me what I had ordered and my pizza was sitting in their storage area. I had tipped 16% on my bill before I left my home and they completely forgot about me even though I was at one point the only car in the parking lot. As for the pizza it was not hot (understandably) and relatively tasteless. The stuffed crust was anything but "stuffed" and there were very limited amounts of toppings. It has been quite a while, because of the pandemic, since I have ordered from a takeout facility but I seem to remember a drop in Pizza Hut quality the last time I visited. Now I doubt if I...
