It's always busy and crowded with working class fellas, talkative seniors, families with children and friends. buzzing with activity. Good prices. The waitresses are lovely ladies, always busy and friendly. Decor is exactly what you'd expect. Old fashioned tchotchkies festoon the wall sharing space with black and white photographs of Bellview of bygone times. There's just one problem I have with the place- my drink. I'm focused heavily on supporting local business but after today, when I received the wrong order entirely and didn't have enough time during my lunch break to have them re-make it, I felt let down that no discount [10% off my order or something] was offered. Read moreI went with my family for a late breakfast. I watched the cook grab raw meat with his bare hands and immediately grab my cooked food and try to serve it to me. Never once did I see him wash his hands and just continued to grab raw meat and cooked toast for every plate. I couldn’t even consider eating it. I didn’t touch my food and my waitress never asked why a full plate was untouched at the end of the table. Just handed me a bill and let me pay for it without question.
