Kure Vaporium — Local services in Bellevue

This is a pretty late review as I visited this store back in the middle of summer. Kure Vaporium was clean, organized, but I don’t believe prices were clearly labeled, leading to me asking the prices multiple times… not really an issue, but annoying. The issue came during checkout. The cashier (don’t remember any names at all) preceded to ask for my ID (of course) which I provided, then she scanned. Then she asked for email (okay, maybe for an email receipt?) - I provided it. Then asked for my phone number - okay, maybe for some new verification purposes? Weird, but okay.

Then I get a text for marketing for them later on. Then I got multiple emails as well, including indicating I had set up a new account/had to finish signing up and I had opted in for marketing.

There was ZERO mention of this during check out… (I would’ve said no)… which is a direct violation of the CAN-SPAM Act. I did not even give any consent to receive any marketing whatsoever, and I found it incredibly underhanded (and dishonest/sneaky?) that I was signed up for multiple items without my knowledge with what I thought was a normal checkout process.

First time visiting them, likely never going back (and advising others of this). I left a similar response when I unsubscribed for ALL...

I live in Louisiana and my family and I were in Omaha for my 12 year old son's World Series. Unfortunately, the park where he was to play was destroyed by a tornado, so the team couldn't play, but we made the best of a bad situation. We attended every LSU game to see them go to the CHAMPIONSHIP! Meanwhile, my old mod went kaput. So reluctantly I had to buy a new one. My experience at this store was fantastic! My red bearded salesman was superb! His name is Patrick (I called him Patrick Star) He was so helpful, experienced, efficient, funny and had an outstanding personality. Everyone (employee) at this location was phenomenal! So happy and pleased with the choice Patrick recommend. Wish I could take the entire store and employees back to Louisiana with me! GREAT JOB! I will never visit this establishment again. Every time I go there is an employee literally standing over me making me feel very uncomfortable. I've been there several times and each time it's the same. It's not the fact I'm being followed or watched, but to feel her breathing on my shoulder is next level. The last time I visited I voiced my concern and told the lady she was making me uncomfortable, and that I didn't need assistance, she said sorry but that's what we are told to do. Having an employee follow you like you are going to steal or take something is ridiculous. It was so bad, any closer and she would of been on top of me.
