I have lived on this property for a little over a year now. When I first moved in, literally the entire leasing team of 2 resigned or moved on and from then we’ve been managed by 3 different leasing Managers.
After the first manager left, the 2nd leasing manager was amazing. I loved working with her, she was here for the residences and she loved my dog. When she left I was so bummed. She introduced me to the 3rd leasing manager we had and at first she was great. But near the end of her time her you could tell everything bothered her. From calling to the office to find out about things or coming to the office to get packages she just seemed like we were all an inconvenience to her. I didn’t even know she left until I sent and email and new management said she left a month later.
So now I am onto my 4th leasing manager here. She’s really good about resolving issues. I noticed around the 3rd leasing manager who didn’t care at the end there were loud neighbors who would party almost every day for 2 weeks and she took care of that including some other issues. I will say she’s not the friendliest person. Some issues I have gone to her that I don’t think she thinks is worth her time she kind of dismisses. Like when I went to her with my key fob saying that I thought the battery was dying. And she asked why, and as I explained it wasn’t getting me into the garage. She said oh, well just maybe hold it still and it should work because other residences have said they are having trouble too. If that many people are saying something shouldn’t they fix it? Because now my key fob is dead and I can’t get to the garage except to go all the way around.
I will say some other issues I’ve had are: trash, they’re not very clear as far as the guidelines for recycling, they refuse to take it unless it is in a clear or blue bag which I never had a clue until recently. Management hates that you keep the black trash bins outside even though everyone does it. People who don’t clean up after their pets. I’ve walked the grounds and I clean up after my dog every time. But there are people who are literally 2 feet away from a pet pick up station and they are lazy to pick it up. It’s so disgusting and of course managements response is, oh we’ll send an email or we’ll post it somewhere. Very frustrating. I live on a unit that faces the walk way. And I know people drive down it to drop off stuff to their homes if it’s on that floor. But I have witness multiple cars go whipping down that walk way when there are people walking and kids playing. Loud neighbors. Very disrespectful neighbors that have kids screaming, parties going on on a weeknight till 3-4am and dogs barking at all times of the day. Parking is great because it’s underground. But it’s a mess because anyone can just pull into parking and park there. I don’t even know why I’m paying for parking when I noticed so many cars without stickers. They really don’t do anything. The garage NEVER closes when the library closes. It’s open for all so there is no security so don’t leave your stuff in your car. People don’t drive very carefully here either as I’ve seen them speeding up when they think no one is around. I’ve never seen the office open when the hours are listed outside the door. It says Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and I’ve been outside that door even at 9:10am and no one. Don’t put hours if you don’t plan to be there to help because I personally work from 10am-6pm.
I would say things I love: Location: we are literally located nearby so many things such as restaurants and groceries. Everything is in close proximity. Neighborhood. I would say we are generally in a safe neighborhood. Most people are friendly. I have encountered a few that aren’t as friendly. Pet friendly. I know their are breed restrictions but I don’t think they enforce it because I’ve seen 3 dogs that are on the list that live here.
Overall. I can’t wait to move out. It’s ridiculous all of the things that are just overlooked. Beautiful property but I wouldn’t not give them...
Read moreThis is the worst apartment experience I’ve ever had. I have lost my peace of mind, my work and sleep are getting effected and there’s nothing being done by the apartment community regarding it. The main problem, along with many other issues, is the worst construction and VERY VERY THIN WALLS. I can constantly hear the conversations, TV and everything that’s going on in the next door apartments. The bedrooms share a wall and its a very very thin one. I have attached the recordings of my neighbor talking ( which she does almost from 7 am till 11 pm ) and you can figure it out by yourself how horrendous it is to keep hearing her and still continue with my life.
Apart from the noise, thin walls and poor construction, there won’t be any hot water after 8 pm ( Yes, in this day and age !!). The reason they give is that it is shared by everyone else and the hot water must have been exhausted. So if you’re lucky, you get hot water or else not. That is the state of this apartment. Other than these concerns, the shower light was gone in a week of our move in, there were cobwebs in the house which haven’t been cleaned and irresponsible people walking around the corridor after 12 am screaming. Anyone should be a fool to move in here after reading this and hearing the recordings of how clear my next doors neighbor talking is. All these horrors at a rent that is way too much for its quality and standard of living that it provides. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS APARTMENT IF YOU WANT ANY KIND OF PEACEFUL, REASONABLE...
Read moreI would rate it zero stars if I could. Amber quoted me one amount, she said not to worry that rate was guaranteed. The villas was also offering a six-week free rent that Amber explained two weeks in each of the following months will be free. I was given a paper that lists miscallenious amenities. The Villas charge up front $40 application fee plus $500 deposit and charges just to apply for an apartment. I was approved with conditions that includes security deposit equal to one month. Once approved the office manager hit me with a load of move in charges that totaled well over $6000. The community have loads of hidden charges that are not explained up front including $100 deposit key fob to get into the garage, monthly charge for parking, valet trash (I can take my own trash to the dump), plus others. These charges are required, for $3500+ a month, trash pick-up should be complementary. The rent special Amber said I would get, Alena said she would take the two weeks free off my fourth, fifth and sixth month rent. Either Alena and Amber work in two different offices or this office needs to have more meetings/training. Alena request above and beyond the amount of verification than a bank asks for to get a Mortgage. She ask for my social security card and birth certificate. The way she treated me; a housing discrimination complaint is definatley forthcoming. I rescinded my application then went somewhere else; saving myself over $3000 move...
