Iâve been to this place 3-4 times. My husband told me I shouldnât go back because the service isnât good, but I didnât believe himâuntil now. This time, Iâve decided I wonât be returning.
Hereâs what happened: Yesterday, I walked in and placed an order using the self-service screen, just like I always do. I typed the name âPorâ and paid with my credit card. Normally, I get a confirmation text message right away, but this time I didnât. So I asked a staff member to check if my order had gone through. They said they couldnât find it.
I ended up placing the order again, using the same name, and this time I got a text message and order number 28. Later, when I checked my credit card statement, I saw that I had been charged twice.
I went back to the staff and asked them to double-check, but they insisted that they didnât see my first orderâwithout even asking for my name or card number to verify. I started to get suspicious when order number 25 came out and no one picked it up. I walked over and touched the bag to check, thinking it might be mine. A staff member quickly told me it wasnât and told me to wait for my order, number 28.
When order number 28 finally came out, I noticed that the name I typed, âPor,â had somehow become a string of five unreadable letters. Thatâs when I realized order 25 was actually my first order.
I told them I only needed one order and asked for a refund on the first one. It wasnât my faultâclearly, something went wrong with their system. Instead of helping, another guy came over and told me to go back and use the screen again, as if I didnât know how to order.
I felt like they didnât even try to understand the problem or take responsibility. It was frustrating, like they saw me as someone who couldnât communicate properly, when in fact, I read and wrote everything clearly. I may not speak perfect English, but I know I didnât make a mistake with the order.
So even though I really love their boba tea and egg waffles, I wonât...
Read moreI visited your store on August 11, 2025, at approximately 9:30 PM and ordered a Thai milk tea with boba, paying nearly $8 for the drink. The order was prepared by the manager on duty.
When I received my drink, I noticed the cup was about 90% filled with ice, including shaved ice, which I had not requested. I approached the manager politely and asked why shaved ice had been added and why the cup was filled mostly with ice cubes. He initially stated that ice is complimentary and that the company policy is to fill drinks with ice.
I accepted the explanation and left, but after just a few sips, I realized the drink was almost gone, with only ice remaining. I returned to the counter and asked again. This time, he said that too much ice was used to âbalanceâ the sweetness of the drink. When I asked why this adjustment was made only to my drink, he responded again that it was company policy.
At that moment, I observed several other Thai milk tea orders on the counter prepared by the same person, and none of them had large amounts of ice, they contained only a small amount of shaved ice and no ice cubes. When I pointed this out, the manager said, âWe can talk.â
I repeated my question about why my drink was treated differently, and instead of answering, he told me he would issue a refund and asked me to leave the store.
This experience left me feeling singled out, dismissed, and unsatisfied with both the product and...
Read moreThey offer HK style egg waffles in various flavors. The Taro one was very good and not overly sweet; the chocolate flavor is another good one to try. You can add ice cream or mochi toppings to them as well. They have a wide selection of Bubble teas, shaved ice, cold desserts, and sweet snacks to choose from; would say mostly QQ themed. The cold desserts were overly sweet for me but they do have good toppings to add on such as the Taro Paste, QQ noodles, and Peanut Mochi. The downside is the long wait to order and to also receive your egg waffles; it took an hour total from waiting to order to actually ordering to getting all of our food (on a Sunday afternoon). Their in-store ordering system (one unit) is not very efficient. Itâs ALWAYS best to order ahead through their mobile app (for everything else except the uegg waffles) since the egg waffles have to be ordered through a separate online site (TableFlash) anyways. Unfortunately, for me itâs not worth the long wait and there are other shops offering similar items with just as...
