This review is for our experience with Ruchi catering! We worked with Ruchi to cater for our Haldi/pre-wedding festivities. We are so impressed by the overall experience. It was very easy to connect with Mr. Ram to discuss menu, pricing etc. We were also able to go to Ruchi for a tasting, and tasted almost everything that would be on our menu. Ruchi worked with us to make adjustments to the spice level, to recommend adjustments to the menu accordingly. We also wanted to work with a catering company that could deliver and set up food to reduce stress on us on the day of the event. On the day of the event, Ruchi delivered the food on time, supplied chafing dishes and set up food to make the entire flow easier for us. Everyone LOVED the food!!! Our lunch menu was poori, chole, veg pulao, guthi vankaya, carrot halwa. We also had evening snacks delivered--aloo tikki, Hyderabadi samosas and cut Mirchi. For night time, we requested Ruchi to package dinner for the guests staying at the hotel. Once again, the food was packaged well and it was so easy for our guests to pick up the boxes for dinner. The food portions were perfectly estimated and our communication was super smooth through the entire process. Many of our guests told us that the guthi vankaya was amazing and was the best they ever tasted!!! We are so glad to have worked with Ruchi for our event and would highly recommend...

AFTER OBSERVING THE FOOD IN DETAIL I SAW THAT FOR BOTH LEMON RICE AND FRIED RICE THEY: USED PLAIN PULAO AS THE BASE AND ADDED LEMON ESSENCE FOR LEMON AND BLACK PEPPER FOR FRIED RICE.
ONE OF THE MOST PATHETIC COOKING EVER SEEN. INDIAN RESTAURANTS IN USA ARE NOT KNOWN FOR COOKING LIKE IN INDIA. I GET IT. BUT COOKING PULAO INSTEAD OF LEMON RICE & FRIED RICE IS SHOCKING & SAD AT THE SAME TIME. ABOVE THAT WHEN THEY SAY "YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW THIS RECIPE. IT IS MUCH MORE DISGUSTING." Read moreGave it one more try and this time food is simply supereb. I liked it a lot this time. Everything just tasted like it should be. Every place has its ups and downs. I wasn't impressed last time at all the previous review can be found below. Looks feels like a hygienic place to trust on.
Came here looking at good reviews, and it was disappointing visit. Chicken 65 biryani is served over a common biryani rice which is made to mix chiken or vegi. The rice doesn't have any biryani feel. I would describe it as dry rice and curry . I am surprised by the way they call 65 biryani just by mixing up it with a some biryani rice which is not cooked in a proper biryani style and the 65 which looked like and smelled like it's made two days ago.
If you are looking for a overrated biryani place with dry biryani and tastes about the same as other restaurants this would be a great place to go.
