I came in for a full set of acrylics for valentines. Right from the start when I walked in it felt very unwelcoming. All of the workers were on their phones and seemed like they could care less. I wanted some French tips with hearts and he told me he could not do a French tip bc the one I wanted was powder. That I would have to pick a solid color, but ofc I refused bc I’m not gonna get nails I don’t want. It also upset me bc they post theirselves doing French tips all the time but Anthony told me he couldn’t do a French tip AT ALL and that I HAD to pick a solid color. I’m visiting family here so I’m not that familiar with bham anymore, but I ended up going to TOP NAIL. She was amazing! And a welcoming business rather than this unprofessional place. —you can go see my nails under her business!!:) and she didn’t use powder at all for the French nails. She hand drew it all with gel polish!:) wayyy better than this place. Why don’t you tell the whole truth, Anthony? I feel bad that a “nail artist” can’t hand draw a French tip. I love it when nail techs try their best to make you happy! And TOP NAILS went above and beyond💜 I read every word:) and you did tell me that I HAD to pick a solid color when I tried to ask if it could just be a French tip that’s not like the photo but you still said no:) don’t assume that idk nails bc when you said you couldn’t do it in powder I knew you could do it in gel bc I do it all the time. And yes I did edit it bc like you said, I didnt tell the FULL STORY, you’re welcome. Very unprofessional and you can tell just by your response as AN OWNER. But it’s fine, have a great...
Read moreTried to have a polish change on my toes and a manicure. I booked the appointment and showed up on time. They informed me they did not have time to do anything but a polish change on my toes. There were four other people that came in after me for Pedicures. They were not told that.
My nail technician would not speak to me at all. Despite me trying to make pleasantries with her. The only thing she said to me was don’t move when she put the flip-flops on my very wet toe nails. I asked her to cut my nails. And she seemed like that was too much to ask for.
My toes were painted with regular polish and my flip-flops were on my feet within five minutes. She rushed through this. Cut two of my nails, and wouldn’t even file them. I have to say it was worst polish change I’ve ever had. Needless to say, the polish is messy and uneven.
There was no thank you for coming, no sorry we couldn’t get your manicure done... nothing! Clearly overbooked. No one wants to be rushed through and a bad paint job ... Very disappointed!!
Update: Anthony - Thank you for your response. I was in your salon on March 20, 2021. My review was on Google site for over a year without any type of response from K nails. I had recently edited a spelling error on my review, and that made it appear it was from a recent visit. I have been in your salon a few times. Unfortunately, the last time I was there was not a...
Read moreAwful. My boyfriend and I came Here for pedicures she instantly started my water and let my feet soak for no joke 2 mins before going about pushing my cuticles back ( OUCH!!) and she was 80% of the way done 15 mins later, and my boyfriend sat there for 20 mins with out even getting water to soak his feet in. Also I dont Mind other people’s religious beliefs but the whole time there was Jewish church talk on the radio talking about how it’s a sin not a to be ciscumsized and how it’s a sin to not be Jewish..... not my ideal of a relaxing pedicure. Not to mention the gals are not even talking to us..... defiintely don’t know how they have almost 5 stars we won’t becoming back don’t think I would Recommend This place to anyone unless they are religious, and don’t get uncomfortable easily.....
UPDATE: she just stopped in the middle of my pedicure to wax someone’s face and I’ve been sitting here for 20 minutes now in the middle of my pedicure half done and someone had to come finish my pedicure. Clearly they don’t make clients here feel like a priority. I work In the industry and I know How important it is to make your client that is in your chair feel like a priority.
UPDATE 2: the lady that was doing my toes to begin with finished the ladies wax and DID NOT wash her hands...
