Honestly have loved going to this place The stuff is interesting, I’ve found genns here - different clothing and home goods. I’ve spent so much money here and supported the business but recently had a terrible experience with the staff. Over the years. I’ve overheard their conversations, sometimes mocking ppl or gossiping but ignored it. It’s not my business + I’m there to thrift …. but this recent encounter brought it all to light…. And I just don’t wanna be around this kind of energy.
I was using the dressing room. I was in it for two minutes (I know bc I was on a time crunch and watching the clock like a hawk..) All the sudden staff (loudly, abruptly and rudely) told me to “you need to hurry up, A line was forming, you are Monopolizing the dressing room”. I was stunned. I meekly Replied “I’ve been in here for two minutes and will do my best”. Anxiety set in. I’ve never been commanded to exit a dressing room like this. I felt rushed, uncomfortable and decided to put my clothes on and leave. I walked out to find NO LINE. NOT ONE PERSON WAITING! I addressed the staff. I said where is the line? I Told her she was rude and could have spoken more professionally and kindly to me. She again reiterated her side and shrugged.
it’s a thrift store with ONE dressing room. Do you know how many times I’ve patiently waited my turn to use the room? Many times. I’m over this energy of rushing and impatient culture.
The staff was unprofessional and made me feel so unwelcome. I’ll never go back. I’ve never been yelled at in a store over a dressing room. Such rude energy …The prices aren’t that good And you take the energy home, I’ll pass on this kind of energy. I just can’t go back

Read moreWHAT!! This place is awesome! I searched for someplace new to peruse during my lunch break and found Center Square 3 minutes from work (Uh oh... I'm in trouble lol). The shop is a little small but big enough to have a great variety of womens clothes, jewelry, shoes, mens clothes, kids clothes, and housewares. The items are classy and very lightly used (though I did see many items that were new with tags). I'm used to paying a premium for higher-end items (i.e. the popular thrift store in Manasquan that charges a ton for name brands)... but the prices were SO reasonable! I purchased a gorgeous pair of name-brand heels, a quality zipper-up flannel, beautiful earrings, and a great dog treat jar for around $20. The owners said they get new items in daily! They even have a $1 rack, and a 50% off rack. They employees were also extremely friendly and helpful. I'm so excited about this place... I will...
Read moreThe selection was great but the way the staff treated some of their customers, especially those who weren’t fluent in English, was very off putting. They were blatantly disrespectful and lacked patience which are not good traits to have when you work in sales. I understand that people can be frustrating but I felt genuinely uncomfortable in the presence of these rude people. When the woman left the shop they continued to make fun of her and I felt bad. Some people are just old and bitter. If that sounds like you, maybe you should apply...
