I really hate to write this review because the owner is so incredibly sweet but my dress I spent $300 on was not able to be worn for my sisters wedding due to the alterations not being done correctly. I did not wear heals with the dress which was my plan and the dress still did not hit the floor like it was supposed to. And the bust part that needed to be taken in had a piece of the fabric that swayed over the front literally flapping freely. It should’ve been sewed into the seem like it originally was. It was only $125 but $300 on top of that because the dress could not be worn. Luckily I was able to go to David’s bridal and get a back up dress where they did alterations and had it ready for me 2 days later just 2 days before the wedding. I will admit I was in a hurry the day I picked my dress up which was Tuesday (wedding was on Saturday) and did not try it on. I wish I would’ve. thought I liked my dress after I picked it up for alterations. After I looked at it from pictures of what it looked like when I bought it to get the alterations that were done, I wish I hadn't taken it go get shortened. The amount of time it took for me to get my dress back (early June I dropped off, I didn't get it back till September 23) and the amount of money it cost was not worth it. The dress was a completely different dress from what I had originally started with. Before shortening it and adding a bussell, the original dress made me look long and slim. After the alterations I looked shortened and round. You asked when my wedding was, not when I needed/wanted my dress. I felt like you rushed my dress and it is like you ran out of time with it. My daughter is getting married in October 2016, she took her dress in, in August to be hemmed up & the sleeves taken in, not only was she not quoted a price, she wasn't even given a timeline on when it would be done. My daughter is a very trusting person a took a chance on this place, they never returned her calls and when she went in to see them, they couldn't even find the dress, my daughter had to find it. I went in & was told all the wrong information about my own daughter & what she needed done. Then they called my daughter & quoted an outrageous price, but still no time on when it would be ready. After all that and her having the dress for a month already, with nothing being done to it yet, We took the dress to another place, not only did we get a price up front, (half of what Bessie's quoted), they will have it done in a week.
