If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Had some Fishman Pickups installed from the “knowledgeable” guitar tech. I expressed how important it was due to the Wacken Battle my band was participating in the following week. He did not install the jack, nor the push pull pot. He also wired the pickups wrong so they were constantly draining my battery. With a fresh battery, it died in less than 24 hours causing my guitar not to work during the battle which cost us the competition. When I took the guitar back so they could fix/finish installing the equipment they let my guitar sit for 3 days (when they said it would be finished). When I went to go pick it up they hadn’t even touched it. They blamed it on short staffing and that they would finish it in the middle of the following week. When I expressed that I needed my guitar before then and had already waited this long they told me to just come get the guitar and it wasn’t a high priority anyway due to it being “free” work even though they botched the job. Had to take it to guitar center where their tech immediately recognized the awful wiring job Texas Tour Gear did on my $1,500 guitar. Read moreStaff is very personable and knowledgeable! It's one thing to sell things, but it's so much better to buy from knowledgeable people. If I could change two things, they would be to stock more fiddle accessories (music books, etc...) and to respond to customers quicker. There have been times when I've gone in and not get noticed/acknowledged for several minutes. While I'd like to see these items addressed, the good in this store greatly outweighs the bad (my 2 recommendations). The guys are very knowledgeable and honest. I picked up the guitar again after about 5 years, and had a few questions about changing the stings out since it’s been so long since I had changed a set. One of the employees was crazy awesome and answered any question I threw at him. He took his time with me and didn’t seem annoyed that I was asking questions. Before I knew it, my guitar is out on the table and he is showing me all kinds of things and telling me things about my own guitar that I didn’t even know.
