Lily, the manager, gave us incredible customer service today. We were 6 hours into our drive from Minnesota to Michigan to see family, with our two young kids in tow - not an ideal time for our new to us minivan to start flashing a warning sign and Check Engine. We found this store because it was the closest from where we were on the highway, and we are SO GLAD we did. Lily soothed our nerves and helped us read the codes and find out what we needed to do. She truly went above and beyond to help us quickly and with lots of clear instructions and explanations. We are not "car people," I can swap a battery or change a tire and that's about it - Lily gave us exactly the information we needed to fix the problem and get back on the road. We switched to using O'Reilly in 2017 for work on our cars from the 1980's. They have always been really knowledgeable about the work we do on our own cars, but also on our friends' and family's cars. They often have all the parts we need, and if they don't they always work it out for us to get the parts within the next day or two. We have never had a problem with a defective part, but they always open the box and check the parts or have us check the parts before we even pay. I went in this afternoon because I had a battery alert on my dash upon leaving work. I went in and spoke with an employee named Dawson who said he'd be happy to come out and check it for me....I'm guessing the cable literally needed to be touched because the sensor light went off. Dawson had me go ahead and turn the car in and ran a check on the battery and the starter.
