My wife and I bought both of our vehicles at the kunes in Belvidere and we started using them to service our vehicles, what an absolute MESS. My 2022 power wagon was in there to get the exhaust manifold done, had it scheduled, they said they had the parts in house and it would be completed same day. yeah what a joke that was, I got a call from them a few hours after dropping it off and I was told that their part on hand was broken. How do you guys stock NEW broken parts? My truck was finally fixed 3 days later, this was the 1st time y'all screwed me. Now come to November 30th I needed to get the driver's wheel bearing replaced, I had my appointment at 8am, which I arrived early, I parked my truck outside and took my keys inside to your service people. I figured my truck would be pulled in at 8am for the simple diagnosis of the wheel bearing (a 15 minute job) anyways I left and went home with my wife. I got a call finally around 1pm stating the obvious, that my wheel bearing needed replacement. Well yes I knew this already but why did it take 5 hours for their "certified" techs to figure this out? That's because my truck was not taken in until 11:30. Fail again on their part. Got it scheduled to be completed on December 7th. I took my truck in at 7:30am parked in the oil change line I was the VERY FIRST person that pulled into the garage that morning. Dropped my truck off, went home. What do you know? I got a call back around 10am telling me that the passenger side when bearing was also bad and they would be replacing that and putting it in for warranty on Monday. sounds KOOL right? No.....Wrong, I never got a call from them again on the 7th, I called then at 4:45pm (15 mins before they close I guess) and well what do you know? The service guy said that they are putting my truck back together and I can pick it up. And we would schedule the passenger side wheel bearing for Monday. So my wife and I went to kunes and well I wanted to make sure they replaced the driver's side wheel bearing (the reason my truck was in there in the first place) so I climbed under my truck before leaving the kunes parking lot... And NOPE, both my wheel bearings on the front of my truck are still the old ones?? I would really love to know what they did with my truck the whole 9.5 hours they had it. I will not be going back to this unorganized business ever again. You guys...
Read moreSo the service is great like when they work on my vehicle they are very informative and considerate and skillful in there work. However they have a difficult time with keeping a loaner vehicle for warranty you purchase so if you don't have a second vehicle you could find your self waiting an extremely long time just to get your car in for maintenance. Though I am still thankful to get my car in I waited several weeks to get it back only to find that every issue I brought up wasn't fixed; not to mention one of the issues being my rear view camera that was "fixed", isnt the same model camera that was removed. The standard ford model camera was so great and this temu aftermarket thing they installed is highly unsatisfactory. Again I'm thankful and love everyone involved with this organization However I wish they would go about the process as if it was them. Though very polite and respectful and informative they could make sure they are equipped to handle issues specifically "the loaner situation" and being more speedily for the little guy who doesn't have the ability to pickup and drop off whenever. And be more effective with communicating whats going on with the customers through the entire process of their vehicle so they are never in the dark maybe and update like how Amazon tracks shipping could resolve that. It's better to wait for quality than to take shortcuts for an unsatisfactory result unfortunately I can understand the stress of having such a huge amount of customers never the less develop a system that lessens your stress and benefits the customer as individual; quality will always guarantee success, but efficiency is quality and speed never sacrifice...
Read moreI went in on a Saturday morning ing about 845am and there were 6 people before me waiting. I expected to be there for a few hours since it is 1st come 1st serve on Saturday. After a few hours so e people that came after me were leaving before me. Around a 11am I finished finally went to the service desk and asked what was going on. The service rep asked if I received an email. I thought that was odd since he was coming in the waiting room speaking with other customers. He said I had an issue with the brakes and they needed replaced and would be another 1.5hrs. I wasn't bothered by having to wait longer, but was very bothered nobody came in sooner to ask me that question and how much longer would I have waited before they would come in. I did receive a text when I came in welcoming me there but no other texts asking me if I wanted the brakes fixed or no emails. I was happy with them fixing the vehicle and never had this issue before, but they need a better way to remind the service guy about customers that have been there a while. Normally they get 5 stars but they were a 5 for the mechanic and a 2 for the...
