I cannot say enough about my experience with Nicole! I was referred to Sunrise by my Doctor for some postpartum care related to c-section pain. I am so glad that I went to Sunrise before doing as the Dr. mentioned and "go ahead and work out again". There is so much I didn't understand about what a woman's body goes through during pregnancy, even if I didn't have a c-section there is a lot we all need to understand before trying to go back to "normal". Nicole explained the anatomy, cause and effect plus gave me really helpful exercises to increase my core strength. I had originally planned on just going for a consultation but now I'm going as needed since I can feel an improvement and know that this is going to help me long term. If I could advise anyone on postpartum care, it would be that every pregnant woman should go to PT to support after giving birth. I highly recommend Sunrise & Nicole for their professionalism, support, focus on education and healing. Nicole is not only wonderful at explaining all the intricacies of our anatomy and providing proper exercises, she is also extremely friendly and relatable. She always offers helpful tips on adjusting my activity, like stretches and form to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been a patient at Sunrise for about a year. I started coming for shoulder pain, had rotator cuff surgery, and have continued rehab at Sunrise. My physical therapy experience at Sunrise Physio has been exceptional in every way, but here are a few of the notable ones: Physical therapists at this office are exceptional listeners. They use patient feedback, combined with medical records, to provide care that honors the patient where they are at each visit. I've never felt so seen and heard by a PT. The patient sees only one PT at each visit (I've seen the same PT - shout out to Jill!), so there is a much appreciated continuity of care within and throughout appointments. Patients receive therapy in a private room, unless they're using exercise equipment. IMO, this makes much more open communication with the PT, and provides a more comfortable experience. For these and too many other reasons to list, I enthusiastically recommend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you need a place where you can get top notch care specific to your needs and not feel awkward, go here to see these gals. They know bodies and how to fix them. Seriously, it is kind of magical how they can devine your issues. Ladies they are a VERY comfortable space to do PT. I am not a small woman, I am not athletic or graceful by any stretch of the imagination, and I am comfortable being my klutzy awkward self in their space. You DO NOT need to put up with your pain. See a Sunrise PT, please, I beg you, they will change your life if you listen to them and do the work, of course. They are very good about helping you work your PT into your daily life, using tools and things you have around your house. I have worked with several of their therapists, all are excellent. I send all my friends and family their way. A couple of friends have even told me Sunrise has helped them manage chronic issues no other PT has been able...
