Thai Table Restaurant — Restaurant in Bend

We ordered take-out from Thai Table. We were told when we placed the order it would take 30 minutes. After placing the order they changed it to 1 hour and then later, changed it again for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

When we went to pick up the food, we had to wait even longer to get it.

We had a 10 minute drive home. We were pulling into our drive way when we received a phone call from the 3rd party service, that they had left something off of our order. So, we turned around and drove another 10 minutes back to the restaurant. We waited another five minutes to get the missing item.

By the time we got home, the original food was completely cold.

The 3rd party delivery service contacted the restaurant and informed me we would be receiving a refund for the missing item that we had to return to pick up.

Then, the restaurant called them back and informed them they would not refund us the money after all.

I just looked on my VISA statement. Not only did they NOT refund me for the missing item, they charged me AGAIN for the missing item.

All of the above aside, this is THE WORST THAI FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. The vegetables were not fresh. The food was not flavorful and what bit of taste it did...

Sometimes you walk into a restaurant and there are smells and it feels unclean and you're not sure you want to eat there at all. Sometimes you walk into a place and it's very clean, no odors or residual cooking oil smell, etc. and you hope the meal is good. I experienced the latter at That Table today. I walked in for lunch and was pleased to find it clean and odor free, a surprise since they do fry food there. As a first time customer, I wasn't too adventurous in my meal choice (Thai Table chicken fried rice and chicken pot stickers) just in case in wasn't as good as I hoped it was. I was greeted nicely and put in my order. I was told it would take 5 minutes and I politely nodded, knowing it would take longer. It didn't. I took it to go. It was off the lunch menu and included a small salad and vegetable spring roll. The rice had a nice bite to it and good flavor. The surprise was the pot stickers. Beyond the satisfying crunch, they had good taste (helped by the dipping sauce) which is something I'm not used to. I enjoyed the whole meal and my only regret is that I don't live close by. Ordered through postmates! The absolute worst curry and salad rolls I’ve ever had! Curry tasted bland and like fish? 🤢 Salad rolls didn’t have a pork in them which we ordered. I call to let them know they messed up, the man continued to ask me when did my food get delivered I said 8:20. He said oh well your order was supposed to be delivered 40 mins ago so if it was sitting in a bag for 40mins it would go bad. Not true my postmates guy texted me at 8:10 and said he was 7mins out. He did arrive at 8:20. Anyways! At 8:30 postmates called me and said nam tok called and said there was an issue with me order. He said nam tok said your food was 40mins late and the food was cold. I said no no! I never said that ! My food arrived at the right time it was just a messed up order and the curry was terrible tasting. I would like a refund.
