This place is cheap for a reason. The weight room is extremely outdated and small. All the equipment is old, rusted, and even broken. They closed this place down several times due to construction that didn’t benefit anyone except for UCS daycare kids. It’s extremely frustrating paying for a yearly membership and not being able to go for at least a month of that year because of maintenance. You’d think they would’ve redone the weight room too so that’s it’s not claustrophobic in there. Any more than 10 people and it’s so crowded you can’t move around or you’re in someone’s way. Most of the staff don’t know how to do their job either. They don’t know wether or not programs such as yoga, for example, are being offered. They let small children jump around on the equipment like it’s a jungle gym. They can’t keep the pool organized or control the lap swims at all. It’s pretty much a free for all where everyone’s on top of one another there. Not to mention, the branch director fails to notify of any early closings. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve driven all the way there just to find a note on the door saying...
Read moreThis place isn't worth $77 a year. The gym is small. Though it has new machines, the squat rack is also the bench press. This creates a huge problem. Only one bench. So everyone is always fighting over the bench squat rack/ branch press. Onle elliptical is totally broken hasn't been fixed in over a year. The machines are a total joke. Beginners will max all of them out. Staff and director are very rude and insulting. Not a very clean place. Only gets cleaned once a year. To be honest with sum simple equipment and sum bands. Anyone could get a better workout at home of less money and aggravation as if five people are in this gym it becomes a problem because of it size and lack of effective equipment. Bars and dumbbells are bent and beat up. It's an injury or infection waiting to happen. In my opinionif I had to use this place, I would need a tetanus shot first. This place is a total pass not worth the $$ or the risk or the aggravation you will find in this...
Read moreWent here today annd it was depressing to say the least. Prices went up ALOT, $20 for two kids to swim for like an hour. And then most of the hour consisted of my kids being scolded and yelled at by the lifeguard for doing pretty much nothing, just normal kid things. She even tried badmouthing my parenting which at that point we just left. There are a few lifeguards there that definitely have some kind of power trips for sure too, either that or they’re terrified of a lawsuit. It’s just really made me sad that all these places I used to have so much fun at as a kid myself, have become so un-fun, all for the sake of “safety”. Everything is literally and metaphorically covered in bubble wrap nowadays for kids. And my children will never be able to experience really being wild and free children, ever. Welcome...
