Careless and sloppy tailors. A while back, they ruined a pair of Italian wool suit trousers, with an exposed one inch hem. Knowing their skill level, I brought two pairs of chinos and discussed the hem they would use to shorten the pants. After taking measurements they disregarded their own recommendations and measurements , ran two sloppy uneven denim hems that were too short ,with untrimmed loose threads which that didn’t match the fabric . On both visits they made sure to let me know how busy they were and that I’d have to wait at least two weeks for the pants . On both occasions I received a call in a matter of days and was asked to pick them up at my earliest convenience . Indicating a lack of care and a desire to make a fast buck. Not knowing if the fabric I chose would match exactly, I bought 1/8 of a yard to bring home to compare the colors. It matched perfectly. I called the store and the lady working offered to put the fabric aside until I was able to return to purchase it. That was a very kind and helpful gesture and it was appreciated. I went back, bought the fabric and the valances are all made. There is a wonderful selection of fabrics to choose from and I also want to comment on the quality of the fabric I purchased.
