Wavelength Audio Video — Local services in Bernardsville

I wouldn't look elsewhere for audio-video solutions. I interviewed a number of reputable higher end A-V businesses in the Morris County area and had 3 different ones actually come out to my home to propose a plan for an outdoor living space (wanted an outdoor TV, speakers, etc). There is a lot that goes into this including how you plan on getting wiring out there, do you stream exclusively or do you get cable out there, hiding all the cable boxes and wires, positioning things so sound is optimized, etc. They have access to all the top outdoor equipment (Seura, Sonance, etc). This was the only company that listened to what I wanted and then built on it to produce a product that was beyond my wildest expectations. They love what they do and it shows. Their quotes are very competitive but it was their service that blew others away. Tim and John were outstanding and I will go back to them for my indoor needs down the road. And Beth was so easy to work with. Any question I had they were quick to answer even after the project was done. They stay in communication for any issue that might arise down the road. We were having serious Wi-Fi issues in the house. We finally decided to take some action. We upgraded our old FiOS and Wi-Fi routers, but weren’t getting nearly the speed that we should be receiving. After talking with several friends, they highly recommended Wavelength AV. I called the firm. As soon as I shared my story, it was quite obvious that they had dealt with these types of issues many times in the past. John, one of their technicians came to the house and did a walk-through looking at our equipment, understanding our wiring, the house structure, etc. John came back with a complete recommendation that we reviewed and accepted. Within a week Wavelength AV place the equipment order and installed the components. The installation took a couple hours. John and his team were very professional, clean, neat and answered any questions that we had. I especially appreciated the follow up call and email that I received from John to verify that everything was working as we anticipated. I’m so pleased with there work, their technical abilities, and responsiveness that we plan on using them again when we do a tv upgrade...

Horrible...

Just moved into town and I believe in shopping local. They came over to the house and I went through my goals for my audio / tv upgrades.

Their process is that they don't just send you the quote- they want to review it with you.

So I set up a call, blocking an hour of my day for them to review the quote with me.

Except they never called me at the allotted time. They didn't call me at all to reschedule or apologize for wasting my time.

When I followed up with them & asked for the quote, they refused to provide it with out scheduling another call / meeting.

I told them that I wanted to give my business and money to a local company, but that I was not going to potentially waste another hour of my life hoping they actually follow up at the agreed upon times.
