The freshness and flavor of the chef's special sushi rolls here blew me away! I dare say it's the best sushi I've had outside of Japan. In most restaurants the special rolls have so much piled onto them willy nilly that you can't taste anything, or even worse, the flavors clash. Not so at Tsuki. The flavors of the fish, caviar, vegetables, and sauces all pop on your tongue and complement one another to create a perfect taste experience. Owner/chef Ginn Huang and sushi chef Oscar made me feel welcome and were helpful in offering suggestions. My favorites were the Black Dragon and Snow White rolls. I also enjoyed the special sea bass roll, though it was a bit smaller and simpler in construction, with a subtler blend of flavors than the other two. Even the miso soup here was better than most I've had in restaurants: nice and hot, with plenty of miso and dashi flavor. In my weeklong stay in Bernardsville, I went to Tsuki three times, each time trying a different roll. Since there are many more rolls to try, I have a reason to go back to the area!

We've been to Tsuki a few times over the years. It's a good sushi place, but I wouldn't call it great. It's not our favorite in the area (that honor belongs to Tsuru) but it's a good option when we don't want to drive as far. The sushi selection is good, though some of the special rolls are hit and miss. The atmosphere feels a little dingy and stuffy, especially when sitting far from the windows inside. It's borderline claustrophobic. Service is good overall, though every time we kindly ask for a different table, it feels like it's a huge imposition. Overall still recommended.

Five starts great Japanese food restaurant! Sashimi and sushi are all fresh! I have tried many Japanese food in Japan and Taiwan, and the Tsuki might be even better than most of them. If you want to try fresh and local favor Japanese food, come here. If you want to try Taiwan favor dishes, come here! The owner may also invent new cuisine occasionally and you can discovery new secret menu if lucky! All staffs are kind and like family, you can relax and enjoy home-like vibe here! Wish I can be here again soon! Highly recommend the California roll

One of my favorite sushi restaurants anywhere, we lived out of state traveling the west coast for several years and tried many “great” sushi spots.. and I am always happy to come back to New Jersey and get some Tsuki - the owner, his wife, and their staff are always very welcoming and hospitable, and the sushi is top notch. They are consistently creating new delicious rolls, so don’t forget to check the menu online before you come to see what the chef is creating that month.

Some favorites Buddy roll Bobby roll toolbox excellent(sub with shrimp tempura) zebra lemon fish special app -in a hurry

If you’re considering it, try them! You won’t be disappointed, they are great for take out as well, just be mindful they get slammed on the weekend so order at least 45 minutes before you...

My reviews are fair and unbiased.

This restaurant missed it on so many levels. The restaurant itself is really dark, dismal, and does not smell particularly well.

FOOD: There is a great learning opportunity for how to properly prepare sushi rice. The rice they serve is just not done right and is very heavy and dense, disproportionate to the fish element. The fish that is served with the lunch sushi/sashimi was not particularly appealing - although fresh, and the fish to rice ratios were completely imbalanced.

SERVICE: Some good learning opportunities here as well. We were the only patrons in the restaurant and it took much too long for our server to come to our table.

Overall, I would not return but do wish them...
