Cute spot connected to a vintage toy store and wonderful little coffee shop. Used hardbacks 6, used paperback, and used mass market are less.

I wish I could say the staff (at the book side) was as lovely as the staff on the toy side, or even as quaint as the buildings. You don't have to be engaging, but at LEAST be a decent human being.

Whoever the woman was who was working the bookstore on 11/11/24 at about 3 p.m. doesn't qualify. I wish she did as I would have enjoyed 4 or 5 books and refused to support the incredibly rude behavior displayed.

Her personal conversation was clearly more important than even greeting a friendly customer. I love bookstores, and I want to see them succeed. With this customer service or lack thereof, I'm not hopeful here,...

Was browsing here and overheard the owner(?) loudly talking for a long time with a group of visitors. Along the lines of how she’s so much better than the rest of the town because she still subscribes to the Washington Post since she’s moved here from the city. How there’s ’pockets’ of educated people but everyone else is ‘red’. I tried to avoid hearing it but the conversation went on and on as I wandered around the store with my kids and you could hear it around the whole store. Anyway left a sour taste in my mouth that you would loudly proclaim your political agenda and look down on others. I won’t be purchasing...

It would have been nice if they had updated their hours on Google themselves, but I had to when we went there on a Wednesday and they were closed (Google still had open). Went back the next day cus we were curious (we like unique bookstores). Found out it's actually attached to a Yesterday's Fun toy shop, so books and nostalgic toys. What could go wrong :) It is used books, so don't expect to find the newest installments here, but you may just a find a new-to-you book and give it a 2nd home. It's a little off the beaten track but if this your kinda fare or your looking for something different, it's...

Wow! This was my first visit to the new store (from their old location just up the street). One word: upgrades. Don't get me wrong, I loved the old store, but their new space is amazing. Greater quantity, wider selection, still excellent condition, and same reasonable prices. The photos show an entire series from John Saul ($1 ea) and a first edition Robert Jordan ($7), all in great condition. If you're any sort of bibliophile, aspire to be, or are just browsing, go see them. Stop by the adjacent toy/game/puzzle/knickknack area, too. Highly recommended!

We had a great private teambuilding event for our seven person group. It was a 2-hour instructional drawing class. Super fun! Also learned a lot about drawing technique. And we have a great souvenir from our teambuilding event! Highly recommended. Kathy is great.
