All About U Aveda Salon and Spa — Local services in Millville

We made our appointments for wedding updos and received a text confirmation. Not being from the area, we weren't sure what to expect. However, shortly after walking through the door we were at ease. The place smells amazing! They were diffusing AVEDA oils and it seriously smelled like heaven in there. The reception area in rather large for the size of the salon and there are several comfortable seating options. You'll also find AVEDA products and some cute jewelry for sale in this area. When we arrived, we were offered a decent selection of drinks. I wouldn't have minded hanging out there for a while, but we were almost immediately taken back into the salon. Joyce did a beautiful job on the maid of honor. Rosana worked with the bridesmaid and bride. She listened closely to what each lady wanted, made changes according to their feedback, and kept everyone laughing. The entire staff was overly accommodating. I recently went to this salon for my wedding makeup and hair trial. It was an amazing experience from start fo finish and it was only the trial, I can't wait for the wedding day! The manager, Rob reached out to me directly and promptly scheduled my trial. It was easy communication via email and I was put on the calendar right away. My mom and I arrived for my appointment and we were blown away by the outstanding customer service. Rob walked us through the day, step by step. Kate, the stylist, then took us back, the salon was very clean and the staff were friendly. We did two trials for hair and Kate did a great job. We then did makeup and she did exactly what I asked for and it was perfect! My mom and I booked the wedding date right there on the spot. LOVE Aveda products, and was thrilled that this salon was down the street from our beach house. I went with a friend--she booked with Ashley and I had Stephanie cut my hair. Scalp massages were incredible, products smelled so good, and Ashley & Stephanie were wonderful to work with! I ended up going back a few days later when I realized I actually wanted my bottom layer a little shorter. Stephanie had cut my hair exactly as I wanted ... but I had second thoughts on my end :) She was gracious and flexible, and adjusted my cut to my liking. My hair is curly, as is hers, so she completely understood how to cut curly hair and that it lays differently by the day. Other staff workers helped my friend & I choose a variety of products suited to our hair tops.
