Ethan Allen — Local services in Bethel Park

Today is March 24, 2025. We ordered a Credenza/buffet, Dining room table with 8 chairs on November 8, 2024. Our sales person, Marybeth, was very patient and helpful. Marybeth told us our table and chairs would take approximately 8-12 weeks and the furniture will probably be delivered sometime in January.

A beautiful table without the chairs was delivered on March 8, 2025 along with a credenza that had some finishing flaws or defects. We were told that the chairs would arrive in a few weeks. Ethan Allan was understanding and responsive to our complaints about credenza and said a crew would come to return credenza to warehouse. On Thursday, March 20th, we received a call from the scheduler that our credenza will be picked up and chairs delivered on Saturday around 7:30PM. The hardworking and very professional delivery men came at 7:30 and took the buffet/credenza, but did not have any chairs for delivery.

Today I called Ethan Allan to speak to our designer, MaryBeth and she does not work on Mondays. I then called the contact person, Nancy, for deliveries and left a message for her. On April 8, 2025 it will have been 5 months since we ordered our furniture.

I am very disappointed in the quality of workmanship with my Credenza and with the customer delivery communication. The only communication we receive about delivery we receive is when we call and leave a message. I will think twice about ordering from Ethan Allan again. Would not recommend Ethan Allan. I ordered a DR table and chairs in September for my new home and I am still waiting for the arrival of the completion of my order. I was promised mid November. After many calls and emails, no one can give me a good answer as to when I will receive my chairs. Frustrating to entertain family and friends through the Christmas season in my brand new home on a folding table and chairs. My most receent call I was told my order is on its way from Honduras but no one can tell me when it will get here. I'm also told they will let me know but I never hear from anyone. The design services we have received from Nancy O'Dell have been outstanding. Nancy responded quickly to our request for help with arranging existing furniture and adding pieces to fit the spaces that we had no clue how to fill when we moved into our new town house. In addition, Nancy chose colors to paint each area that have a spectacular effect! Once the furniture was arranged with new pieces added and the painting was finished, Nancy followed through with helping us hang art work and arrange accessories.
