Jamie is the actual best hair stylist I’ve ever had. She is insanely talented, always LISTENS to what I want and makes sure we’re on the same page before she starts, and makes me feel completely comfortable to suggest and collaborate during the whole process. I have never felt comfortable in a stylists chair speaking about. On top of her insane talent she is sweet as can be, genuine, professional and just and all around great person. I’ve not heard her say anything bad about anyone or anything, and being in her chair is a positive experience in every way. I didn’t actually get my hair done at Iris, but I did have a consultation with Jamie. I was looking for curly hair extensions and Jamie worked so hard to find something that matched my hair! She even made accounts on extension websites that she didn’t normally use to try to find a good match. As I expected, she didn’t find something that matched (my hair is 3 different types of curls) but Jamie tried so hard! (Two other salons didn’t even respond to me.) I have been going to Jamie for 4 years now and couldn't be happier with the color and balayage services I've received. Even when the studio moved out of the city and to the South Hills resulting in a further drive for me, I didn't even think of going elsewhere.
