My adult son & I were in a hurry today and stopped at this Walmart for dog food. We have shopped here many times before, but have never eaten at the Subway inside the store. Since we were pressed for time, we decided to just have a quick sub for lunch, then proceed with getting the other items. No one else was in the Subway when we entered, but the worker continued making subs. She stated I can't wait on you til I complete this take-out order....so we waited & waited...over 15 minutes. My son placed his order, then I told her which sub I wanted, plus a drink. She stopped after making his order and rung up the bill and he paid....then she went back to my sub. I asked for a cup for my drink and sat down at the table with my son. 2 other customers then came in while we were eating. While making their subs, she calls across the counter You still haven't paid for that drink I forgot to put on your bill. Another customer enters and we are still finishing eating and then she yells you still owe for that drink, I don't like stealing. How humiliating!! She forgot to add it to the almost $30 bill, we were still eating, then she insinuates we might steal a drink!!! My son walked up to the counter to pay for the drink and she does not wait on him until she waits on all the other 3 customers! She was so rude and inconsiderate & we will never go...

Store was open, but I went to make a return at customer service and after waiting for 10 minutes and trying to find help, an associate told me that customer service didn't open until 7am. It was 6:50. So I asked if the store was open. They said the store was open but parts of the store like customer service were not and that I had to wait until 7 to make a return. Funny how you can buy things but not return them when a store is "open" and also funny how employees can all be bustling around but be unable to help you until 7am. At 7:01, the same woman, Jennifer, who told me that customer service didn't open until 7am, came over and processed the return after I waited for 10 more minutes. Several other employees came over in the mean time and wanted to help but couldn't because they didn't have access to the machines at customer service. I've also found on multiple occasions that fitting rooms were supposed to be open and help was supposed to be there and come but it never did. Many employees are nice here, but management might need to change up a few things with the few that work directly with customers and...
Read moreIt's very weird that this Walmart is positioned with the Giant Eagle in a way that makes it seem like one large store. Yet still clearly their own brand styles. It just gave the impression that they're both "less than" what they would be otherwise. 🤷🏼♂️
The biggest irritation from this Walmart is that they do sell a limited selection of grocery items. They sell food. But they do not accept EBT payments. There no signage to inform you of this, so when you swipe the card and enter your PIN it'll decline without giving reason. So you're going to check your balance and try again. When it doesn't work the second time you're likely to just leave the transaction on the register but go to a different one thinking that the machine is garbage. And you'll try two more times before seeing someone employed to ask what the deal is. It was unnecessarily frustrating and took longer than it needed to or would have if there was small signs throughout grocery saying "don't accept EBT" and the same signs posted near registers, & when a card declines the machine could give the reason (it could be printed to be...
