Organic Remedies Dispensary — Local services in Bethel Park

I went for the first time today and had the best experience. I’ve visited other dispensaries before and they’re all amazing but this location is really something special. I placed an order online but made a note requesting help from a pharmacist for chronic pain. When I arrived there was a note behind the desk with my name on it to make sure I saw the pharmacist, and the girl checking me in (I can’t remember her name) looked so happy to see me! She really made sure I was taken care of, she asked me if I needed anything, helped me sign in, and made sure I was seen as soon as possible. I meet with one of the pharmacists, Christine, for almost an hour and she was incredible! She asked what medications I take, where I work, what I do for fun, what forms and strains of medications I’ve used from other dispensaries, what my tolerance is etc etc. Then, she suggested I try different products and delivery methods and started going over the items I had ordered online before building me a whole new order. She LISTENED to me. I have never, in my life, had a DOCTOR, let alone a pharmacist, take time and listen to me the way she did. When we were done she walked me to check out and explained all the confusion about my order(s). While Bill was ringing me out he showed GENUINE curiosity and empathy about my products and goals. And he gave me the extra birthday discount even though I was 4 days late! This is definitely going to be my regular store...

So lets just be real. The only thing this place has going for it is the location.

The staff are nearly ignorant regarding cannabis - both the PA Medical Program and the properties of the plant itself. Half of them don't seem to even know the OR point of sale computer and that you can pull test results for everything from the QR code on the packaging of your meds. (minus 1 star for two bad experiences out of maybe 6 or 7 visits; and minus 1 star for generally ignorant staff).

The staff doesn't care what your consumer experience is like. The staff will not be able to help you sort through what's good for you and what's not going to work as well. They wont be able to describe the differences between products or how they are made.

The parking lot is in poor repair: potholes, bad layout and the paint wore off two years ago. Additionally it is difficult to get into and out of the lot. (no star adjustment)

There isn't anything here that you cant get somewhere else, and the prices are slightly higher here than other dispos. (minus 1 star).

This place is my dispo bestie 😍 to be fair, I’m biased bc this is the first dispo I started going to after I was legally able lol but it was a perfect first choice!

Positives!: online ordering! Just make sure you hit that final submit button on that last order confirmation page or your order won’t be waiting for you when you show up 🙃 ask me how I know lol Absolutely lovely staff who are always helpful as well as knowledgeable and nice to chat with :) What seems like a very generous rewards program imo. I’m not used to being a part of any kind of truly useful points system or anything (GetGo’s is good too actually lol) and when they ask if I wanna use points like, $15 EXTRA falls off the total or, I swear this, I’m pretty sure I got like $30 EXTRA off. Prices are already a vibe 🙌🏻

This dispensary has a treacherous parking lot tho lmao, as big as it is 🥴 No fault of theirs, just a heads up. What I’m waiting for NEXT is an OR app to help streamline the browsing experience you get when ordering online....
