Absolutely horrific....drove from moon twp to get Famous Dannys...grew uo in South Hills ...Danny was in top 5

Stunned at the 24 sqare cut pizza i bought cost 36.00...was literally inedible.. Checked online reviews...knowing if i noticed a change others wouldve posted Low and behold...CHANGED OWNERS... obviously owner changed quality of products CUT PRICES LOSE CUSTOMERS...threw entire pizza in foil to freeze ...I plan on speaking to Alex...the owner...was given his name by Dave the Manager I asked Dave ...cant you see the difference...he replied "Im to young Maam...I dont know what it tasted like before"

I proceeded to explain to him Dannys was phenomenal...Rival to and in my opinion beatter than Betos.. I hope the guy changes back to quality and recipes of original owner...he lied and said the following online.."

.im 1 of 3 in world have original Dannys recipes"

What a joke ...blatant bull....say goodbye to pgh classic...sad!

I was promised a full refund...ill be following up to make sure of it...ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING..AND STOMACH TURNING...my husband picked up a cut...his hand was covered in grease...blah!

Lastly...half requested half plain halp pepp and sausage to

SAUSAGE .....it had taste of OLD PORK..it wasnt sausage it was PEPPERONI CUT INTO THIN STRIPS....on top of old pepperino STOMACH TURNING...

The new owner cutting costs...bad restaurant owner cut quality of product...this screams low quality...and to say its original...cmon now...millenials might drink it up...but true customers...GONE! I ordered Fioris via Uber DANNYS IS...

Great food, horrible service. The owner I belive took my order. I had to repeat myself 3 times because his personal cell phone rang and he had to check it, then the store phone rang and his attention was drawn to that. Afrer placing my order he tells me we can only take cash because our phone line is down and thats how they procces transactions. Keep in mind he just answered a call on the store landline. If he has a personal cell in his pocket why in todays world does he not have a square or an alternative method of accepting cards. Luckly I had the cash. Other were not so lucky. I have worked and managed a sandwich shop before and I know you can accept cards while the phone lines are down and leave the transactions pending till your services are restored. There were 5 employees on shift and the man who was taking orders was also making them all. Made the service really slow. I enjoyed my meal but I wont be comming back. The store also is not handicap accessible and the entry was blocked with junk which made getting my stroller in very...

1 bun .50 cents 10 / 15 pieces of lunchmeat meat $2.50 (if that )veggies 50 cents. sauce 25 cents & you can't get 2 hoagies for under 26$( food good prices suck) and here's another reason they got one star. I bought two Italian hoagies with no onions went to pick them up there might have been five people or 6 patrons in the restaurant I got my two Hoagies went home when I got home I had one Italian hoagie with onions and a steak hoagie I called on to complain the manager she said I know we tried to catch you going out of the parking lot said if you will bring them back we will replace them I said no I'm not running all the way back down there can you replace the hoagies at a later time she told me no you have to bring the Hoagie back when they knew they were the ones that screwed up not me so why should I be punished because they're idiots and you can't put the right Hoagie in the right bag so I paid $27 for a Italian hoagie with onions that I didn't want and a crappy steak Hoagie I definitely...

Update (5/14/24) - I took my two sons for an extra cheese pizza. We all realized we like the more thinner pizza slices….Dannys is on the doughier side. This includes so much cheese it basically fell off the pizza. The Ingredients were excellent; however, the pizza slices fell apart even while cutting eat slice up for my kids. Another note, they do not have any restrooms for customers; therefore, if you had kids there like me, you had to walk to local Aldi grocery store while the pizza was being made to have a place for my kids to go. Overall, I like the history, and I did like the pizza; however, you have to be a fan of a lot of sauce and cheese where it oozes off each slice. I am new to the area and my buddy told me I had to get an Italian hoagie from Danny's! This place did not disappoint, very good! We shall return! They have plenty more than just hoagies too (pizza, etc)

I don't know how to describe this place other than it's a throwback to some time during the steel mill heyday's of this area. LOUD. REALLY LOUD. Even when you're standing at the counter to order, they are yelling. I ordered a meatball hoagie which was so salty it was impossible to taste the meatballs at all. It was a friggin mess to eat; what I was able to choke down. Looks like one of the numerous male teenage workers had a wet dream on the end of it. (see attached photo) Only guys work there and most under the age of 18 which seems a little...peculiar. Did I mention how loud they are, oh right, I did. There's a credit card service fee which is the only thing about them that was quiet because they don't mention it. The dining room needs to be power washed, twice.

This place is a staple of Bethel Park so I had to try it out. It has a nice simple old school style of pizza; nothing you've never had but very good for what it is. The pizzas were good but the sandwich I had (no picture; sorry) may have been even more noteworthy -- an original Danny's steak sandwich. The secret sauce they use was super clutch; a nice sweet and savory kick that complements the toasted bread and toppings very well. Lastly, the pricing was very good in my opinion -- for the same price as their biggest pepperoni pizza, you can get their largest supreme pizza (also pictured). Typically, the supreme pizzas will cost significantly more, so the competitive price of $15.50 for each was a nice touch to the already impressive overall offering.
