Curbside delivery: $42 wasted today. : lately the curbside has gotten sloppy and today after placing an order, paying a $10 and a tip, my order arrived with 3 big heavy jars of Mids Meat sauce and one Alfredo stuffed into one single bag. Both handles ripped off of the bag and glass shattered on the concrete in front of our door. So instead of having a delivery because I’m a cancer patient making life a bit less difficult I was outside in this humidity trying to clean meat sauce and Alfredo off of the concrete with glass everywhere. The ham from the deli that has a standing note to be chipped was sliced in big thick slices instead of being chipped. I called customer service and was told that since this bag made it out of their store without breaking they were not responsible. A few weeks ago I ordered tuna fish in water and got it oil. That was the same. Nothing was offered because I did not make the purchase in the store. If you don’t want to value the clients that need to use your curbside service then perhaps you shouldn’t be charging $10 for every delivery order. I’ve had raw chicken packed with my Deli meats and cheeses. Milk with raw beef. This is always when males are shopping and I have to assume bagging. I’m done and I hope others follow suit. Disgusting customer service during a time some of us can not come into your stores. That is $25 worth of mistakes PLUS $10 fee and a $7 tip to our delivery person. Read moreI bounce back and forth between the Penn Hills Giant Eagle and Bethel Park GE for prescriptions depending on where I am staying . I have been having the same prescription filled for over 10 years . Today I experienced Megan at the Bethel Park pharmacy on Library Rd and it wasn’t a pleasant experience . I asked a simple question as to why my prescription couldn’t be filled over the phone and she went into a loud and confrontational explanation as to my insurance must not have approved it . One problem ….. I don’t have health insurance Megan . I am an independent contractor and roll the dice for now. So your guess / fib couldn’t be more wrong Megan . I know exactly why it is an odd amount but she didn’t take the time to listen to me …. All she did was talk !! When I asked her why she was being so confrontational she said she wasn’t but she can’t hear very well . I know the difference between loud talk and loud confrontational talk . She was miserable and abrasive . I went to the manager and he didn’t seem to be surprised . I believe his name was Scott and he was very sympathetic. Read moreGetting pretty fed up with the attitude I get when I go to this store! I think I'll take my business strictly to Elizabeth and not bother with Bethel Park Giant eagle anymore! I called ahead of time to make sure the deli was open and the guy said yes the deli is open until 8:00. I got there at 6:59, and there was only one guy working and I got nothing but attitude because he wanted to close the deli because he was the only one working everybody else went home. Not my fault not my problem that you are understaffed again I called ahead to make sure the deli would be open. He could have just said we are understaffed and we are closing early and I would have taken my business elsewhere happily.. but instead I was met with hostility and anger. This is not the first time this has happened to me it has happened multiple times I stopped the day before today which is Friday I stopped on Thursday I was there at 6:45 and the deli was closed and no one was there!!!!!
