This used to be my go-to place for tools and parts I needed around the house. However with the redesign they removed a number of products that I've looked for. I guess because of shortages everyone is going through, there are a number of items that I've gone to get recently that they just haven't had forcing me to go to Lowe's or home Depot. And one final comment, they used to have one older heavy set man who worked there who seem to know everything about anything and he would always steer me in the best way to do whatever work I needed to do. I haven't seen him there since the pandemic I hope he hasn't retired and he comes back. Before the redesigned and the staff changes this place would have definitely got five stars.
Update: I needed Backer Board seam tape, Stopped here first believing this would be a quick & easy pick-up. However no one in the store knew what it was. Had to go to Lowe's. Dropping down to 2 stars, just not the store...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter walking through the entrance it felt like I went back in time (I mean that in a good way). They have a great selection of items but the most notable part was the customer service. After I spent 6 or 7 minutes looking for the item I came to purchase the owner/manager offered his assistance. When he asked what I was looking for (eGO power head attachment) I pulled out my phone and showed him. And then to my surprise he invited me to go back to his office to see if they actually had the item in stock. Who does this in these current times? After a few minutes with checking the inventory, we went back to the shop floor, moved a few boxes and we found the item I was looking for. One would be hard pressed to receive this kind of personalized customer service at the big box stores. Iāll definitely be coming back to shop here...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came there August 28th 2023. To purchase a stihl MS462 chainsaw. The saw was $1319.99. I wasn't sure if i had enough cash on me to buy it then. I asked the store associate ( older Caucasian man) if I could leave a deposit, and pick up the following day 8/29. That's when things went bad. The store clerk then laughed & made the following remarks, and I will quote them verbatim. " What do you want to drop off $50 a week for the next 6 months?" "We don't finance chainsaws here" " You know it's hurricane season right? " Then he said more comments treating me like i was poor. I told him i own 20 chainsaws & a business. I then told him to unlock the saw, and paid cash for it. Never once have I been discriminated against so badly in my life. Never will I go back, or refer anyone to this...
