Steel City Bowl and Brews — Local services in Bethlehem

I was at this establishment on 4/14/18. The employee there named Brittany was very rude and acted like it was a problem for her to do her job. My mother's shoes didn't fit properly and she wanted to exchange them and Brittany acted like it was a problem for her to do so. The second pair didn't fit either and my mom did not want to even go back to change her shoes for a second time just because of how the employee acted. The other issue that we had was that when we went to start a new game the prompts on the screen were not working. So my 12 year old daughter went up to Brittany to ask her for help and Brittany's response to a 12 year old was "you should have pushed the right button". I am very disturbed at how she spoke to a child. I feel if you do not like your job and you don't want to be there, then you should stay home. I find it very unprofessional of her to speak that way to a child. We were there for a fundraiser. This was my first time at this establishment and it is safe to say that I will not visit again. I would rather travel into New Jersey or even Allentown before I step foot in this...

Bowling is great, never any issues! I wish there was a separate GBP for the bar. The bar is the problem. The one bartender is beyond rude, she’s the only one I have seen working there, so I’m not sure if she is the only bartender. I have never in my life left a negative review for a place, or even felt like I had a reason to until today. A few months back someone in our group went up to get a drink and she said “no absolutely not I’m closing” with a nasty attitude, even though it was way before last call and he was not visibly intoxicated or anything. A few minutes later we sent a different friend up, and she served him no problem. Tonight we went up to the bar and she said “do you have a wristband” - yes, they have a sign to get your ID checked but nobody was standing there to check. So I said no I don’t. I don't like to post bad reviews but I think people should be aware! So we went on a Saturday at 4:30pm the place was not too busy had about 4 lanes being bowled on. My daughter wanted to go bowling for her birthday. We walk up to the counter and they tell me that we couldn't have a lane because they needed them for a league that starts at 5. The lady told me to come back after 9pm and we could bowl. Ok first off there is nothing on your website about leagues on Saturday evenings and that there is no open bowling available. The website actually says bowl all day till 1am. I will not return to bowl here again. The woman was rude when I asked we couldnt just bowl 1 game and she said no we have leagues i just told you that and acted like I should have known. What type of establishment only has open bowling from 9pm to 1am on a saturday? How am I supposed to do that with my younger kids. Just poor business and front staff ...
