Student Recreation Center — Local services in Big Rapids

This was the first time I have been here since they did a major building project to upgrade the facility. The gym, walking/running track and exercise equipment are beautiful and new. There's a large selection of exercise equipment to choose from and a beautiful pool with hot tub too. The common area is comfortable and has places to plug in laptops and other electronics. The only small downside is that the men's and, I'm told, the woman's locker room were not included in the upgrade and could use an update. Lots of fun...

Ferris State's SRC is a great place to get a workout. I come here a few times a week to use the weight room and I am never disappointed in the facility. It's always clean and there are plenty of machines and racks so that I never have to wait to do my next exercise. For a student it’s pretty nice to be able to workout and a good price but there gym equipment is falling apart. Some of the elliptical functions won’t work.
