As a long time customer of premiere and someone who purchased regularly from them I am not only disappointed but extremely concerned with my experience today. Unfortunately, after many rumors of this happening I was sold a moldy, three year old pre roll today at the Big Rapids store. I attempted to call and speak with an manager and was told âcall back in thirty minutesâ then I asked what their policy was for selling products over two years old, not a sole in the building could tell me. After returning and bringing my concerns to a manager and the General Manager neither offered any course of action, refund or remorse even saying âyeah thatâs what we doâ. Granted, after speaking with the CRA about this incident I was informed that âflowerâ has no regulated expiration date and can be sold according to the dispensaryâs policy. This is a huge health and safety concern, the CRA assured me that they would stay in contact with me but I am devastated and sick over the entire incident. I sought second and third opinions of other dispensaries in the area who shared that this is a regular issue they hear about from premiere. The manager at the store even tried to tell me that it was put on the shelves after being sent to be âretestedâ but the test date says otherwise. I will be sure to share this experience with everyone I can and follow through with my complaint to the CRA. Bottom line- the products are cheap because the conditions are terrible and the product is old. Please protect yourself and pay the extra dollar at a store in the area with integrity.
**edit- the âownerâ is correct I did purchase many other pre rolls, as I always do. The unfortunate reality is that it only takes ONE moldy pre roll to cause serious health concerns especially if that person is predisposed. Trying to justify selling moldy product by telling me how much it would have cost me elsewhere is UNPROFESSIONAL. The owner also noted that my other prerolls were harvested this year when they in fact were harvested and texted last in the year 2023 according to the label, if that can be trusted after the general manager lied about product being retested. I would GLADLY pay the extra $56 to protect my health and continue to share my experience to spare anyone else in the area this issue. I look forward to further conversation as I elevate...
Read moreI'd love to give a 5 star review just for the $5 off but honestly, I was only going to give one star until I called the store. My partner and I walked here today cuz it's only about a mile from our apartment, and I recently moved out this way from Bay City, the land of dispensaries. I decided to try this place due to location and prices on Weedmaps, when we came in I told them it was our first visit and we were given tickets to get free products for our first time being there. We went to the back and the person waiting on us just grunted out a word which I later figured out to be "concentrates" and I blankly stared back, confused to have someone grunting at me from behind the counter. After processing for a moment, I was eventually was able to tell her we were in for pre rolls and that I had a price range in mind, and she stated blankly back at me. The music was so loud and instead of grunting, her voice turned into a whisper, so I could barely hear her. Finally got the pre rolls I wanted, turned in my ticket to get my free products, and she forgot to include them, as well as our free products for the amount we spent. I called the dispensary when we got to our dinner reservation and the guy that answered said he would make sure he put a note in my account for me to get them next time, and when I expressed my disappointment about the service, he replied that he was sorry and that she was having a bad day. Well if her bad day is ruining customers experiences, especially as a first time customers, she should probably be sent home or be working in the back. I work in customer service and I would never get away with a situation like this happening. Coming from a place where there's a dispensary basically every 500 feet, I have had very good service from bud tenders and very terrible service from bud tenders, and this is definitely an experience to include in the terrible side of...
Read moreI brought a fwb here for the first time today and had an experience. I rung up for more than I expected and I felt weird about it but I didnât notice a single product wrong exactly. I didnât want to say anything as I didnât want to make a scene at the time because of my fwb was there. I looked when I got to the car. Turned out one product rang up for the wrong price. I picked something off the $30 shelf and it rang in as $40. I went back in from the car and was pushed off by the bud tender because they said they system had it in as a sale and a coupon I used voided the sale. Well that made me frustrated cause I wasted a coupon and paid $5 more then. I tried to explain that and she waved me off it felt like citing I shouldâve seen it on the screen. I left feeling angry, I was gonna give it a day to calm down but my mom insisted I go back again to make it right. She was upset and did make me more upset than I was and yeah I do admit I couldâve handled it better and not got angry but they just kept telling me the same thing and not hearing that the problem was the unmarked sale. I do feel bad cause theyâre just employees and Iâm sorry for that. All I ask is a little sticker or something to indicate itâs on sale. The manager was super responsive and kind to my concerns and made a correction that was needed. He even listened to my thoughts and seemed to consider them.
Overall Iâll keep coming back. I loved it before and now that I know itâs run by a decent guy Iâll keep coming. The employees are hit or miss though, some days when I go thereâs a wonderful (brunette?) full figured woman who I have great convos with and makes me feel welcome but some make it feel like they want you to decide asap. I appreciate the welcoming feelings and has me...
