QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Big Rapids

Hear ye, hear ye! Gather 'round, good folk of Big Rapids!

Today, a band of merry coworkers and I did venture to the esteemed Qdoba, located at 836 S State St. Four of five did partake in the quesadilla, and verily, we were all most pleased with the outcome. The fifth, a brave soul, did choose the burrito, hearty and bold. He declared it good, yet, as is oft the case, it was overstuffed with rice and beans.

Lo and behold, when I didst load my quesadilla with all manner of delights, I was amazed at its deliciousness and the bounty it did provide. Forsooth, for the modest sum of thirteen dollars, the feast did surpass that of the Taco Bell down the road.

The establishment was clean and well-kept, though the atmosphere was noisy, making it difficult to follow conversations from corner to corner. Yet, the staff was friendly, and we shall make a point to return more oft.

The food is pretty good. I’m leaving 3 stars because I did an online order, showed up at the time they gave me and it wasn’t done. Okay, no big deal I know places get busy sometimes but they didn’t even start it. I stood there for 5 minutes before anyone even asked if I was there for an order. They then told me they would make it as soon as the customers left. I’m sorry? Was I not a priority as a customer when I ordered and PAID for my food before they walked in?That just left a bad taste in my mouth. Had an online order wasn’t even done when I got there and had to wait 5 minutes. Normally I’m patient and don’t care about waiting but it was during a shift and I had to be back asap. I grabbed my order and drove all the way back to work I hadn’t eaten anything and I opened my bowl and there was NO CHICKEN and the receipt specifically said CHICKEN BOWL on it. I called them and they said they would refund me, and guess what they never did this all happened December 8th and still have yet to get my order refunded also the manager was very rude and didn’t gaf when I called.
