I think this place is a descent place to exercise and workout. Unfortunately their customer service is lacking substantially. When you sign up at anytime fitness, you sign a contract and on that contract there is a section about a annual fee of $29 for upgrading the facility. And I have no problem with that whatsoever. Now you choose one of two dates. March 20th or September 20th. On my contract I was set for March. Well they took the $29 out of my account on September 20th and I was not expecting them too so it overdrafted my account. So I went in to their office and informed them what had happened and they said it would be reimbursed to me with in 7 to 10 business days. So right after I leave their office, I get charged with a $27 overdraft fee. So now this is $56 they weren’t supposed to take. Over the next WEEK I called almost a total of 28 times and they finally answered only to tell me to call right back and they never did. Then two days later they finally answered after my bank account has been building up overdraft fees of $150. And then the manager had the nerve to charge me a $100 early cancellation fee on top of a 30 day notice. I do not recommend using this facility to anyone who doesn’t want to get robbed. I am now out $150 in overdraft fees and $100 more in early termination fees. Not a way to...
Read moreAt the 24th and broadwater gym, thsanitizer wipe bins in the machine room have been out for at least a few months. Every time ive been there they are not refilled. Kinda disgusting when i am the only one who wipes down a machine because i had to go across the gym to get a wipe, and by the time i get back to clean my machine another member is on it, without wiping it down. GROSS!!! And when addressed that and a broken machine without a "out of order sign" to the 4 employees sitting in the office doing absolutley nothing... all i got a snooty comment of "ya we know we will get around to it" .... ill be using my membership downtown thankyou. Even though your gym is more convenient for me, i will make the drive down town easily to not get the bacteria, and rude comments from your staff/gym. Their employees downtown at least keep the gym sanitary and always are polite...
Read moreI signed up for membership and also personal training. when I signed up I let the manager know that I would pay for personal training through the summer and that I was out of town for the winter but would still continue to pay for training and resume in the spring. She agreed to this, and when I returned in the spring to resume my training, I had already run out of training sessions that I had paid for throughout the winter. then same manager let me know that sessions expire within a couple of weeks If you don’t use them, I paid hundreds of dollars only to have the sessions expire on me and she never let me know. I tried to talk with upper management. No response. They would not honor my payments for training but did waive my cancellation fee (after 2 years) Only after I threatened to sue them. so I only lost about $900 to them. They are a total scam. Go with a...
