We ordered a sectional and a king size bed from Ashley the last week in July. We also purchased the protection plan on the sectional we'd ordered. Shortly after receiving it, I did submit a claim and over two months later I still haven't received a call back on it. More importantly, when we ordered the bed, I asked our salesperson numerous times if we had ordered ALL the pieces which she confirmed each time. Ashley called us on August 26 and notified us that our bed had arrived and was available for pickup. We had someone lined up to purchase our current bed so we contacted them and they came and took it to make space for our new one. We then went to Ashley to pick up our bed. After unpacking everything and beginning assembly, it became clear that we were missing multiple pieces. We went back to the store and they stated multiple times that we had received everything. Finally, days later they realized that they had not ordered all of the pieces to our bed. Renee called us within about a week and told us that she'd ordered the missing parts and that since they were shipping directly to our home, we should receive them by mid to the end of the following week (first week of September). After we didn't receive them within that timeframe, we called back to Ashley and spoke to a manager who informed us that was not actually the case and they couldn't actually tell us when the parts would get to us or even when they would ship. After several days of more back and forth, they said they'd hoped the parts would ship by the end of September. As of writing this review on October 27th... three months after ordering and two months of sleeping on the floor because they'd told us our bed had arrived...our parts still have not shipped. We are returning our bed at this point and will order...
Read moreA few years ago we ordered a electric reclining sofa and loveseat. We purchased the extended warranty as I was not confident that this would last even though the salesman guaranteed that it would be worth the investments. Now it's been 2 years later and it has been a complete nightmare dealing with their repair team. They do not return your calls. The lady that orders the parts the technicians say continually orders the wrong parts and sends the tech out only tell me that it is the wrong parts you ordered. Every time I have had to call and wait many weeks even months for callbacks. This is now been going on for 4 months and all I can say is do not order anything from this company if you think it will require maintenance in the future. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU! They will wast your time and you will loose many hours of taking off time from work. So far I have lost over 6 hours of work meetings with appointments only for them to tell you they ordered the wrong part or was sent with wrong part or even bring a part that had absolutely nothing to do with the product you have. It's been absolutely ridiculous. This does not also include the many messages left and waiting for callbacks. Never and I repeat never have I got a call back. I have always had to repeatedly call and listen to many excuses as to why that person is not there. How on Earth can a company stay in business when part of their business is totally and completely incompetent. Please take this from a person that is just trying to make it in this world. Read moreI went to try and find a little office stand. I found a wooden chair that was in the discounted section but no stand. As Travis was looking on their website for a stand, I couldn’t help but look at the beds. My current bed is 18 years old and I’d been thinking of getting a new one. The 1st Ashley store I went to I wasn’t comfortable with the salesman that greeted me. At that place I saw a stand but it was sold and when I told that salesman that was the type of thing I was looking for, the answer was yeah, that’s sold and walked away. Well duh, but he didn’t want to do any extra work so I left. Apparently dressed in sweatshirt and baseball cap with my hair ticked under on a Sunday just made Mr L think I didn’t have enough money to waste his time on me. I stopped at the store next to that Ashley without knowing it was an Ashley too. If I had known I wouldn’t have stopped. But Travis Brownell was very nice and let me look around without stalking me. He tried working with the size I needed for the stand, and I laid on all the beds. Travis took the time to tell me about the benefits of each bed and never pushed one over the other. He had me try all of them and let me find the one I was comfortable with. He never pushed the higher ended beds or frames on me, he let my back and neck find the right one.
