Food took forever to get served. Server took a very long time to even take the order. Was considering leaving by the time she came. When our food finaly arrived it was cold. Daughters lemonade was just water the waitress that brought it told server not to charge for it. Informed the waitress again that the lemonade must be out. She brought a new one. Right after getting the cold food. We asked for a to go box and told her the food was cold and we would take it home to microwave. I told her it must have been sitting a long time. She admitted there was some mix ups in the kitchen. No offer to fix it no offer to discount it. Just brought the to go container and did sorry. Still billed us for the "waterade". Total bill was $50.00 for a very poor experience and cold food. The last Ihop I had went to was Bozeman. Had such poor service I hadn't even considered going to one again. The kids picked this one and kept feeling bad afterwards. I am normally by far the best tipper I know. On a 50.00 bill I would usualy tip 20.00 minimum and even 50% many times for great service. Either way I tipped her the 18% which was not earned in the slightest. No I didnt contact a manager etc. If management was doing their job then servers would know to let them know of issues so they could handle them. Not happy spending 60.00 for a a cheap cold meal. I do not envision ever going to an iHop again. As I was leaving I overheard another patron telling a server they had been waiting a long time to order and we're ready. Only a matter of time before iHops go...
Read moreAmazing service! Myself, four other adults, and my son came in for lunch at 2:30ish on 1/2/2024. Shortly after being seated, my son accidentally fell and hit his head on the table, resulting in, thankfully, only a minor injury that our waitress (I think her name was Talia, it definitely began with a T, and that's unfortunately all I remember) immediately rushed to get a band-aid for. Manager was great about the incident report - and we are definitely sorry that we had to do one on a nice Tuesday. Our waitress was very attentive throughout the rest of the visit once we got over our personal hiccup.
Regarding food, it was mostly good. If it wasn't for the above & beyond service we received, I'd knock a star off completely for how rancid the hashbrowns two members of our party ordered were - grease and potatoes were both definitely old. I tried them personally, and they were ick. If we visit Billings again, I hope we get way fresher hashbrowns next time. The rest of our order, including the kiddo's, was, as noted, great. I will put a word of advice on the chicken tenders, their breading is pretty crunchy, and seems burnt. Our waitress explained that it's just the type of breading they use, and given I had a Nashville Tenders melt, I can confirm that the meat is what you'd expect from a chicken tender.
All in all, this is definitely an IHOP, and the amazing workers just...
Read moreWas very dissapointed in the food and service on Sunday. We showed up at 12:15, was told it would be about a 30 min wait because we had a table of 10. There were about 5-7 other smaller groups waiting as well. Some of the smaller groups were seated well before us which is understandable but we were the LAST table to be seated. We finally got seated and gave them our drink and food order at the same time. They took forever getting our drinks ( I watched the whole 2nd half of the Packers game before I got my coffee). Finally got our drinks, then the food came... Mine was cold and the pancakes were nasty, my Sisters was made wrong. They cooked me fresh food minus the pancakes because I turned down fresh ones, and they re made my Sisters Salad. They did take my sisters salad off her bill. When we were getting ready to leave one of my neices asked where the nice waitress was.... Was just an overall bad visit for IHOP. We will not be going back...
