Zimmerman's Furniture — Local services in Bismarck

I have a leather couch and a fabric recliner from Zimmerman's Furniture. I have had these items for several years, they get daily use and they still look as good as the day I got them. To me that defines the high quality of furniture sold at Zimmerman's I couldn't be happier with my couch and recliner. Also the customer service that a person receives from the time you enter the store till you leave is exceptional whether you have made a purchase or not the staff from management to delivery personnel are top notch they treat you like an old friend and really make your shopping experience comfortable and enjoyable their knowledge and expertise in the furniture business is unsurpassed and the relationships they make with their customers/clients are always ongoing. Any of the staff at the store is and will be a pleasure for anybody to deal with. I prefer to deal with Kelly Mayhew-Frank as we have a special relationship and she truly knows my wants and needs and knows the furniture that will suit me best. I just tell her what I need and she takes care of everything for me as she knows when it comes to shopping for items like furniture I am a little self conscious as I am an amputee having lost my leg in a motorcycle accident...but hey like I said the whole staff is great.....but I am very proud of Kelly Mayhew-Frank when the many people approach me and tell me how knowledgeable, helpful and professional she is especially when they tell me how she goes out of her way to make sure they are satisfied happy customers and that I should be proud of my daughter for the knowledgeable expertise she delivers to all customers,,, I just smile and say, " Oh you don't know just how proud of her I am", and I continue...

Bought a $3,500 sectional couch from here that seemed fine on the outside but little after a month of purchase the thing started to fall apart from merely just sitting on it. What the sales person(I'll keep confidential out of basic respect for the individual, as this is a company matter.) told us was new innovative, gel-infused seating and covering has proven to be nothing more than puddy which has all but mashed into a thing layer coated by boards that pertrude into your spine whenever you try to kick back. We were shown that the couch had lighting in two of the cup holder pieces, fully functional for reading, when it got here it was only then that we discovered the cheap clunky outlet wire plug-ins that look like they're from 1983 that are attatched to it, that also ironically have the wire distance of a basic cell phone charger chord. I would highly recommend steering clear of this company for numerous reasons, but this isn't a review on personalities, this is a review on a 3,500 dollar couch deviously masked and altered in the store, now I have a hunk of garbage in my living room for the past 2 years, it's been totaled for 1 3/4 years, we're barely even home to sit on it and when we put the foot rests up it puts about 2 weeks of wear and tear on it from basic functions. Dont waste your time at this landfill, there's plenty of other generic places to go that sell furniture that isn't completely useless and taxing on your spine. Go in and take a smell...

This was by far one of the best shopping experience's I have ever had. With there being what seems like a furniture store on every corner in Bismarck Mandan it was a toss up between a few of them. I was skeptical at first about Zimmerman's as I always thought they were the "expensive" furniture store. This is most certainly not the case by any means, they actually beat most of the prices in town. Kelly Frank is by far one of the best sales people I have ever worked with in the furniture business. Her knowledge and understanding of what customer service should be was astounding! She not only made the experience fun but was amazing and helping us pick colors and options to fit our home. Her follow up and attention to detail was next to none. I have always hated shopping for furniture and Kelly made it a wonderful and fun experience, her and her whole team were helpful through the whole process even down to the delivery of the furniture. I would highly recommend the professionals over at Zimmerman's for anyone in the market from a lamp to a new bedroom set when making your next purchase!
