M&M Dance is the best studio in the area by far! In addition to having fun, your dancer will learn proper dance technique! I visited several area studios before choosing M&M Dance and most studios were ok if you just want your kid to have fun... but not good for really learning anything of substance. I feel if you are going to pay for instruction, you should get meaningful instruction. I am spending my money so that my kids can learn the RIGHT way and have fun at the same time... so we chose M&M! 7 years later, we couldn't be happier! From the teachers to the dancers to the parents... these people have become our second family. It is such a warm, inviting group of people! And my two daughters learn so much more than dance at M&M... this studio has helped them to become poised, mature, confident, independent, respectful, and responsible girls. While I chose M&M because of the amazing dance technique taught there, these other life lessons they've learned along the way at M&M are invaluable! The instructors lead by example and are great role models! The M&M teachers have a true passion and love for dance so they are constantly learning more themselves from the best in the industry by attending dance conventions. They then pass this valuable information on to their dancers. Dancers at M&M have several different options as far as how far they want to go with dance. They can simply take recreational classes, they can be part of the performing group (who dances at parades and festivals in the summer), or they can try out to be in one of the two competitive teams (M&M Dance Company and Empower Dance Company). If you are looking for great dance instruction and so much more, try M&M Dance! You won't be disappointed! And if you want proof... come watch the annual recital! It is the best recital around - the talent will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreliterally terrible. i went there for years and hated every second. it was a very toxic environment from not only student but teachers and other moms. i wasnt treated as good as my peers bc my mom didnāt help or donate extra money. the price for everything was more than expensive. my mon would constantly look at her history of paying and it was crazy and just not realistic. michelle would scream at everyone expect her favorite students. the only teacher there who i had a good experience after 8 years with was maggie she was the only kind teacher who knew how to treat kids. maggie was also the only teacher who thought about clothes.michelle and other teachers would make very young children wear very revealing clothes. the dress code for practices were shorts shorts and sports bras. in between classes a group of girls and i would rush in the single bathroom and change because you would get in trouble if you wore a sport bra under a leotard. the girls there would constantly body shame and be flat out rude to eachtoher. the moms there were crazy and had affairs with eachtoher. worse experience of my life. michelle completely ruined...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately, we had a really terrible experience with M & M Dance. The service we received at this dance studio was absolutely appalling. The owner actually yelled at me over the phone when I called to inquire about our second lesson there, that was taught by two 13 year old girls. I thought I was paying for an instructor to teach my toddler ballet? Apparently not. I had several questions that deserved answers about the way the classes were run (including, but not limited to the lack of adults supervising the class). The owner quickly became defensive, and before she answered ANY of my questions she told me that I was an over protective mother, and that this dance studio would not not be a 'good fit' for my 2 year old. This was honestly the worst customer service I have ever received. When it comes to me paying someone to interact with my child, I want the best service, and this was FAR from the best service. I would NEVER recommend M & M Dance to anyone. Very...
