I have always disliked working with Exper-T's. I'm not the typical fraternity boy or sorority girl that they usually get as a customer, but a female in a coed professional fraternity. The employees seem dismissive every time I go in there.
The main thing I'd like to talk about is why I'll never go back. I brought in my own shirt to have the letters of my fraternity appliqued onto. When I came in to get what I ordered, they had messed up the order of the letters. Their policy says that they "aren't responsible for human error or machine failure." Okay, so I got a new shirt for them to put the correct letters onto, but they wouldn't return the other product. I had to argue for 30 minutes for them to cut the letters they put onto my shirt out of it and give me back my property. It made it seem like someone in the back could decide they like what you brought in and could mess it up and then keep it.
I really wish there were another company in Blacksburg willing to do applique to give Exper-ts some competition. If another place existed, everyone in my organization would immediately switch over. We currently try to make shirts for each other just because of how inconsiderate the employees and management are, as well as how exorbitantly priced their merchandise is.
Our national organization also asked them to discontinue selling stickers with our name on them several months ago as they have no license to do so. As of last week, they were still...
Read moreI've had nothing but terrific experiences with Exper-T's this last month. I needed to have custom embroidered polos made and after checking 3 other stores who had minimum purchase amounts I went with Exper-Ts.
Exper-T's had very reasonable prices for the embroidered polos and the digitization cost for my logo turned out to be $20 less than expected (which also turned out to be less than the other companies had quoted me). When contacting Exper-T's I was always received warmly and their associates were always polite and quick to respond.
What really impressed me most about Exper-T's was their willingness to work around the customer. After having paid the invoice over the phone Thursday morning, I asked for an estimated date of when the polos would be done. They told me "tomorrow". I was surprised at the quick turn around. As it turned out, it would have been much more convenient for me to get the polos the day of paying the invoice, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to pick them up for two weeks. So I called back and asked if there was any chance they could fit my order in by 5 today (Thursday still). They said they'd try to and if they could they'd get back to me. Lo and behold I received a call from them at 4 saying the polos were ready to be picked up. It made my week!
I will definitely be returning to Exper-T's for my embroidery needs...
Read moreExper-T’s certainly has earned my business. I mistakenly went to a local competitor first. Huge mistake. The other place had my order for over 7 weeks and never did a thing. When I went in to cancel my order, it seemed old hat and like it happened everyday. The other place could not seem to find a way to return multiple phone calls. All this led me to Exper-T’s. So glad it did. Folks at Exper-T’s were a joy to work with, very attentive and fully understood the concept of good customer service.
