Oasis World Market — Local services in Blacksburg

Literally a holy grail. The staff is always nice and the selection is unmatched. I no longer live in Blacksburg but take trips to go to this market. Even if you’re from somewhere else, bring a cooler because you’re gonna find things you never knew you needed. Fresh produce, great meat selection (halal meats too), and tons of dry goods just not available at most stores. They also have a wonderful selection of alcohol and kitchen products too! Products are seasonal often, so going frequently means you’ll be able to find lots of new items they may not have prior, however you will sometimes not be able to find certain brands of items. That can be good if you’re still willing to try...

Oasis has some of the best in international shopping available in the area. I particularly enjoy their tea products. I purchase Black Lichee by Golden Sail frequently and it's some of the best tea I have ever tasted. There are many other international products that I have tried in this shop and love. Whether you just want to familiarize yourself with ethnic cooking and try something new or feed your international family foods they know and love from their homeland, this place is great!
