I bought a pre-paid debit card yesterday and put $100 on it. Everything went smoothly and I registered the card and did two transactions that day.
Today I went through one if the registers to re-load $500 on the card. I told the clerk I wanted to load $500 on the card and she looked puzzled and barcoded the card. She then just walked away and went and spoke with another employee. She came back and said that I woukd need to go to customer service to be helped. I went to customer service and they said they could help me. I told them that in the instructions in the card it says that I coykd go through any register to pre-load my card. I was told that I can they just may not know the procedure and don't know the PO to enter and that they would have to ask for the PO. They completed my transaction and handed me my receipt. I then went back to the clerk and informed get of what I was told. She then walked away and brought back the same young man she had spoken with the first time. He said he was the supervisor and that the PO isn't on the sheets for reference so the clerks can look at. I told him that I was just letting them know so next time I don't have to go to customer service. He reluctantly said thank you.
At no time during this process did I receive one apology for my inconvinence. On the card paperwork it states that I sgoykd be able to go through any register in the store to pre-load my card and it also says it on the greendot website. I probably have done a hundred dollars in business at this store every week for the last 3 months but they lost my business today. The level of customer service I experienced today...
Read moreI do not frequent grocery store cause can afford grocercies and actually stopped in for break as I figured my plan back home to christiansburg.
now I've been a few times before but long before the salad bar was moved.........
Im from another State, so I haven't known this place long. Many Alumi and Locals alike have a special name for this wonder world.... My encounter was met with great awe and assurance. This place was cleaned with a detailed hand and a delicate cloth and most likely a special ordered polish. every section of this place stood out. ever sight was captivating. every single product category presented me with a bulk of options, comparable to those out outlet/flagship stores....but it was like a mini outlet mall in every section. 98.7% of this store was FuLL100% in ALL. full stock, FuLLy clean, FuLLy organized, fuLLy Staffed and Fully engaged. I've honestly have seen many or any retail grocery outlet like this ... They must have a time that does Front Facing Rounds every 15/30/mins- 1hr. dont understand people who miss out on this ... YeS ... the GooChee Kroger it is...and from my experience, I take that to mean: Nothing More Than Great. No one bothered me either or gave any awkward stares staff or engaged shop members...it was a very refreshing tour and breeze walk as I mazed my way in and out at random from a long walk. Very Awesome place to explore and shop. I encourage anyone and to go confirm how accommodating , amusing, and awesome...
Read moreI have to say my experiences could be better. Sometimes the employees are friendly, but half the time they go out of their way to avoid helping you. The store is large, which is nice because they have so many things other places may not, but they tend to move things around a lot which is frustrating. Recently they moved a lot of the natural food selection to EVERYWHERE else in the entire store. I basically do my main shopping in produce and nutrition so its very aggravating to have to hunt for the items i need in places i have no wish to go to. They should have just expanded the nutrition section instead of made things harder to find. And i understand that its a marketing strategy geared to make you discover more merchandise, but lets face it. If i want organic pasta or condiments or baking items, i WILL NOT buy crappy food just because its cheaper. Other than that being my main issue, it is generally a clean store but the meat and seafood dept could be cleaner. Im vegetarian so i dont purchase meat, but if i did, i wouldnt buy meat from this place, even if the meat dept employees are helpful and kind. Just be wary of the environment your food is prepared in is all i have to say. None of this will deter me from returning to the store, but there will always be the irritating sensation of going in there when i know i cant find what i need and sometimes ppl arent willing to help...
