I purchased a massage here through Groupon to get a feel for the place before committing to a full package. When I called to book, I was told I needed to provide a credit card to hold the appointment — standard procedure, they said — and I was assured no charges would be made to my card.

After the session, I received both a call and a text saying they had neglected to remove my card on file and that I had been charged $201 while also redeeming the groupon code. They claimed a refund would be issued. When I texted the number that contacted me, the responses were unprofessional and passive-aggressive, trying to make it seem like I had made a mistake.

They insinuated that I had either provided incorrect information when booking or booked the wrong service — which was not the case. I booked exactly what was offered through Groupon, and I followed all instructions given. They also claimed I was given extra time for my massage — again, not true. I neither asked for nor received any extra time.

I asked to cancel any future appointments (since I did not purchase any additional sessions) and requested my card be removed to avoid further unauthorized charges. Instead of handling the situation professionally, I received condescending and inappropriate responses, including being called “sweetie” and being accused of harassment — which was completely uncalled for and left me feeling extremely disrespected.

At that point, I did curse out of frustration — but only after being treated so rudely.

This was a disappointing and uncomfortable experience. I won’t be returning, and I would not recommend this...

I wanted to give this establishment, some business, as I liked that it was a small black owned business. However, the owner is unreasonable and not fair to her clientele . Fair warning this business will charge you the total fee of the services not rendered if you don't show up for an appointment. Recently, I booked a back facial with the owner after purchasing a Groupon . Not realizing I was going to be away that week, I forgot and missed my appointment. Since I was in Curacao and my cell phone service was spotty, I didn't see the messages from the salon. I don't make it a practice to miss appointments, so when I missed the appointment I felt terrible. Nevertheless, to add insult to injury after missing my appointment ,the salon charged my card the entire cost of the service ( back facial $70) with no services rendered. When I called and spoke to the owner . She was not at all empathetic to my situation and was extremely unreasonable. She refused to work with me and insisted the charge would stay as is on the card. Luckily, I called my card and disputed the charge with no services rendered a business is not supposed to charge the complete amount of a service. It's unfortunate, but I will never deal with this business again , not a fair business to...

Really liked my nails, but will never get lashes there again.

The lashes were not good at all- they look very cheap. The tech is super young and inexperienced (she admitted to me while already applying the lashes that she’s still in high school). She didn’t listen to what I really wanted and it feels like she just applied what she wanted to do. I had a conversation with her before application that I had a negative experience with lashes before, so was really specific about what I wanted: a classic set, the most natural looking. Instead, she put whatever she wanted on me- very bushy, thick, and super curl- exactly what I didn’t want. I just can’t get used to them- I will be taking the lashes off as soon as I can. (I spent too much time there to redo them and felt too bad to tell the young lady I didn’t like them.)

The only saving grace of my appointment was the nail tech, Kathy. She was great at acrylic and shaping. My nails came out exactly how I wanted!

The pedicure was ok- I didn’t like the equipment used. The foot bath was a Homedics brand one like you use at home, so the water was mostly cold, no massage jet, no massage on the chair. Just not like a regular pedicure at a nail place. Kathy had a very steady hand when applying a French...
