I just happened to stumble across this bakery in search of the best crumb cake in New Jersey (I was visiting from California). Another bakery was recommended, however, they were closed for the week. I am so glad my search lead me here! It was so worth it! The crumb cake was absolutely amazingly buttery and the crumb to cake ratio was about 75% crumb and 25% cake! Perfect ratio in my opinion. Yum Yum!!! The owner, Tina, was so kind and welcoming! Her bakery proudly uses REAL and fresh ingredients and it is evident in the quality and taste of the Crumb Cake. Styertowne also knows that it all about the crumb, so you will not be disappointed. I also got a chocolate chip cookie which was really good too! Whenever I crave another buttery Crumb Cake from New Jersey, luckily Styertowne ships around the country! Finally, this is a small, family-owned Business and I was so happy to support it and will continue to order from them or visit them in the future!

I’ve been coming to Styertowne Bakery since I’m 9 years old with my grandmother. 40 years later and the pastries, rolls, cakes and bread are still made the same way! 100% all natural ingredients! And still extremely Delicious!! I recently purchased their world famous Crumb cake along with a rye bread , wrapped it up good as instructed by the owner and shipped it down to Florida. My boyfriend and his friends raved on how fresh it was. They devoured it in less then 3 days! I know I’ll be back in to buy another crumb cake!! They have the perfect anything & everything if you are visiting a friend or family! All the employees are knowledgeable and give great suggestions. Thank you Tina & Oliver of Styertowne Bakery !! ❤️

This is a small but clean shop. It has an allure in presentation. For sure, this store has some peculiar pastries like this German Chocolate with Coconut-pecan top, are hard to find in the neighborhood bakeries. The muffins are not particularly special. The items are bit pricey…while some items may worth it, others are hard to justify…..then, for some reason, we felt a bit of uneasiness in the ambiance when we're there… some kind of “rush and focus”….. perhaps not many Indians have visited this type of enterprise ?!..a bit more friendly gestures from the sellers would be nice .. Overall, this store has some real good pastries.. but a bit pricey and needs some PR skills. Recommended with 3 stars.
