I was looking forward to trying out a salon since I reside in Atlanta, GA. I called ahead of time she said arrive in 20 minutes and they’ll be able to take me. Upon arrival the salon was beautiful every tech seemed booked. I believe the manager/owner asked me if I had an appointment I inform her I called. She told me I would have to wait until one of the techs are complete with another client, she didn’t specify how long I would have to wait. The tech she was referring to just started laying acrylic on her client nails so I’m assuming I might have to wait 45 minutes. 30 minutes went by another tech finished another clients nails and sat at her desk doing nothing while I was still there was still no communication about how much longer I would have to wait so I just decided to leave. I was a little bit disappointment with the lack of communication and the fact they say online they take cards but in person they are cash only. Other than that I’m sure I would’ve had a better experience if I booked ahead of time but just don’t let them tell you they take walk ins cause clearly they don’t and the transparency with time just wasn’t there.
UPDATE AFTER OWNER RESPONSE: I just think it’s extremely unprofessional to have such a bad attitude about A first time experience with a customer, the least you could’ve done was apologized about how the way things went and not try to blame the customer. Every bad review on this page you seem to have an issue with the customer’s opinion and it’s just showing another reason why I’m glad I didn’t spend my hard working dollars here. AGAIN, I literally emphasized that it mightve been smoother if I just booked ahead of time BUT you never specified how long I would have to wait which is the bare minimum you could’ve done considering you being the owner. Maybe you can go back and listen to the phone call and camera footage in your salon cause you NEVER specified how long I would have to wait. You have the day you deserve honey and I hope everybody looks at these reviews moving forward and makes the right decision. BELIEVE...

edit after owner response Good customer service does not include: -Taking 5 days to confirm my appointment -Taking my deposit and then sending no confirmation to let me know what location it would be at. You posted what location you were open at the day of my appointment after I had already been waiting -Not responding to my multiple texts at 9am confirming I was there. It wasn’t until 1:26PM that you texted to say the location was at Garfield and not Clifton. I waited for almost an hour and the only reason I left was because a random worker in the building said she had spoken to you and you wouldn’t be going to that location that day. No one called me until 1:52pm that day. I had been asking for my deposit back since 10:04AM and didn’t receive it until 5:04PM after having to ask you multiple times via text and Instagram so I’m unsure how you consider that instant. then you tried to claim via Instagram that I never left a deposit…. After having refunded it to me already. It’s a shame because I had made the appointment for myself and a friend who came all the way from PA for the 9AM appointment because we had seen your work and were excited to get our nails done for an event we had this week so this was a major let down. Unfortunately I don’t trust that this won’t happen again but I hope you do better because we weren’t the only people waiting that day thinking we had an appointment at...
Read moreSo I was really looking forward to getting my nails done at this shop. The reviews were all great, the designs looked wonderful online, and the shop is close to my house.
I went into the shop on Wednesday morning and wanted the style captured in the first pic. Although the nail tech didn’t get it just like the pic, it was still cute. However it started coming off that same day as shown in the pic.
I was able to go back to the shop today, Friday and was told that the chrome color is prone to coming off quickly. Ok now I’ve had chrome before and never has it come off in less than 24 hrs but ok they agreed to do my nails over. I went back to the shop at the time I was given an appointment with the same tech but then was told she wasn’t available, that I would be with another tech. I showed that tech the design I wanted and had discussed with the receptionist and the new tech was like “no, that’s a design.” I should’ve known from the door she didn’t want to do my nails and the pics I’ve included show it all. I included the reference pic and what I received. What I received doesn’t look like the pic I used as a reference, and it doesn’t even look like a professional did it. She wanted to rush thru thinking I wasn’t going to tip her perhaps but I was always going to give her something because she wasn’t the original tech who did my nails and I always feel weird not compensating a new person for their time. All in all I spent over $100 for just regular old pink nails. Gave 2 stars because they redid my nails but al in all,...
