I should have taken into account some of the reviews below (and on Yelp) and NOT gone to this place from the VERY beginning! Like many below said, all was fine until I no longer wanted to continue my membership. As with one commenter, although I didn't have auto-renewal set up at the beginning when I enrolled, and although my membership should have stopped at the end of a year, it did not. When I called and emailed them many times to make sure that they stop charging my account, I was asked to walk in in person to do so (which is in itself strange). Even after doing this, and after being told that it was finally canceled and that I would no longer be charged, they continued to charge me for months!! In order to stop them from charging my account, I finally had to ask my bank to initiate an ACH cancelation form, and had to pay once again, this time to the bank! (If you use your credit card to enroll, you won't even be able to do this; you'll have to cancel your credit card to stop them from charging you). Go there only if you want to end up paying for months after your membership should normally have stopped. This effectively makes their price much more expensive than...
Read moreThis gym really is a cut above most of the other AnyTime Fitness's I've been to, as well as the Planet Fitness and all the other major chains. Much of the positive differentiated change seems driven by one of their excellent trainers, Zack. I had the fortune of getting a complementary training session with Zack, and wow is he the real deal.
I'm fairly well-researched on issues of anatomy and exercise given I had a double herniation a few years back in my lower two discs that required surgery. After telling Zack about my issues, he researched the problem, and provided me with a litany of information that has been so useful in helping me to grow my strength without presenting a high risk of reinjury.
Zack has also been instrumental in helping the owners select equipment that is usually only seen at the real cutting-edge strength gyms, like belt squat, reverse hyperextension machine, and more.
I came from the YMCA in town, and while I do love the Y, you absolutely cannot beat the value of this AnyTime Fitness location given its low price, 24/7 availability, and the top-notch quality of its...
Read moreThis is the worst gym I have ever seen in my life! I don't know how but every single towel in the gym smells like tuna. Me and my girlfriend got banned from the gym for going in the bathroom together last time I checked we are grown and we went in there to change. This is the most pathetic gym ever there's barely any equipment the staff are rude and they stink. I have been to 100 gems in my life and would never go back to this one I even had a chance to call some of the other anytime fitness is because this is the only one that's not ran by the other ones and they also informed me that they would never go to this gym and they are going to make a surprise visit because they've heard so many bad things about this gym! The bathrooms are never cleaned there's always boogers on the equipment it's the most pathetic gym I've ever seen in my life. I was charged $50 after 2 weeks and they can't even get someone to clean the gym will be posting...
