Azzip Pizza, conveniently located at the CollegeMall, is a fantastic spot for some quick and delightful pizza. The location is easily accessible, though it can get a bit crowded when the local college is in session. The parking situation is manageable, and the hustle and bustle add to the vibrant atmosphere of the place.
The interior of the restaurant is hip and modern, with a laid-back vibe that is both welcoming and relaxed. The staff at Azzip are always cordial and seem genuinely happy to assist customers. Their enthusiasm and professionalism contribute significantly to the overall positive dining experience.
Azzip's pizza-making process is reminiscent of Subway's sandwich assembly line. Customers can watch as their pizzas are customized 'live' by the talented Pizza Artisans. The variety of available ingredients is truly impressive, with a mix of traditional pizza toppings and more exotic choices. The inclusion of options like potatoes and dairy-free cheese shows Azzip's commitment to catering to a wide range of dietary preferences and tastes.
The wait for the pizza is pleasantly short—about five minutes. What emerges from the oven is a delightfully crispy, piping hot, cheesy pie that's been tailored to your exact liking. The freshness of the ingredients shines through in every bite, and the balance between the crust, sauce, and toppings is usually on point.
For those who enjoy a cold brew with their pie, Azzip Pizza also serves beer—a welcome surprise for many. It's a nice touch that rounds off the dining experience.
While Azzip Pizza offers an excellent dining experience, it loses a star due to the occasional parking issues, especially during peak college times. However, this small drawback is far outweighed by the quality of service, the deliciousness of the pizza, and the overall pleasant ambiance.
In conclusion, if you're in the mood for a customizable, quick, and tasty pizza experience, Azzip Pizza is the place to be. Whether you're an adventurous foodie or a pizza traditionalist, you're sure to find something that tickles...
Read moreI would agree with most others who have visited this establishment to date that it is quite good. (Highest average pizza joint rating in Bloomington at time of writing).
I ordered a normal pizza with lots of veggies on it (spinach, green peppers, garlic, etc.) and it was delicious. Since the pizzas are made to order you can pick the toppings you want and they bake the pizza right after you order.
The service has been friendly on all of my visits here and the food is cooked very quickly so you don't have to wait long.
The interior of the store isn't anything to write home about (no cushion on seats, not a ton of seating and fairly plain interior) but it's fitting for a counter service restaurant and didn't affect my experience negatively at all.
I would highly recommend this place if you like freshly-baked thin crust pizzas. There aren't any other custom pizza joints in the area (at least not at the time of writing) and the food quality and variety at Azzip's is very high...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. This place is terrible. I can't say the food is bad but their employees tell lies on good weekly customers. The person in charge takes it upon their self to speak to said customer when they should gave set back and watched and maybe if they have cameras ( in which most places do these days) to see just what their employee was referring to about this customer. But no it was went about the wrong way and when said customer ask to speak with said employee to apologize if he seemed out of the way to them was denied. We are talking about an 80 year old sweetest most out going laid back man. Not only will him or the other 11 people that was with him ever come back i eill tell everybody on ALL social media forums about this place. These 13 people meet there every Friday for pizza and friends night but that's business gone now. So take a chance if you want but I won't ever step foot in...
