I feel it to be necessary to share that I've been a business owner since 1994. I've been flooded with salespeople for years trying to get me to buy their products. I've seen countless pushy people trying to convince me of everything. Today, salespeople have learned the psychology of the sell by filling your mind up with non applicable information most of the time! They are pushy people with a lack of integrity. I've grown a dislike for people like this and can smell this type of salesperson from a mile away! My purchase strategy was simple, I went to four stores and priced the same band and priced all diamonds within .07 carat weight for my wife's engagement ring! All were of the vs1 vs2, E or F color and excellent cut keeping them very close in all grades. From the moment I walked into Bremer jewelery let it be known that Mr Larum was not one of these people. Of all the salesman I have ever encountered in my career, I rank him possibly the best! We all get up everyday to make money to support our families and lifestyles. I sincerely believe he gets up, goes to work to make people happy! His paycheck is just a bonus to him. I hate to even call him a professional salesman, I'd rather call him a professional listener and tour guide. He listens and guides you allowing you to construct your best decision that suits your wishes and needs. If you were to ask me this defines PROFESSIONAL! Mr Larum is exactly that, PROFESSIONAL! I challenge everyone reading this to find out for yourself. You would be doing yourself an injustice by not stopping in and meeting Larum. Now the details, of my transactions and situation. My wife's mother has been diagnosed with a very fast terminal cancer. We had to start hospice within 2 weeks. This forced us to advance our wedding date months to accommodate her mother's wishes. Let it be known that Mr. Larum and the Bremer team created/built our ring and three days later it was in my hand. In this review it should be noted that based on my experience I would have made the decision to use Bremer based on comfort and service alone. Yet again, I am happy to report that they offered the best price as well! I should share too, that I did not tell any of the four stores the prices in which I was given by each so the price was beaten without being pre-informed! Bremer was my third stop! A few weeks ago, I was scheduled to have hand surgery the next day and I was told I had to take my wedding rings off. I knew this was going to be really difficult because they haven’t been off my finger in 54 years and the years have taken its toll on my knuckles. I tried everything I could think of to get these rings off until I finally managed to get it stuck on the knuckle and couldn’t move it, my finger was turning blue. I even had my kids come down to help and they finally got it to move but it was back on my finger. The nurse that had called told me that they would cut it off if I did not get it off before surgery and I did not want that to happen. My husband passed away March 1 of this year and I did not want his ring destroyed for anything. After many tears, my daughter said she would text David at Bremers Jewelry to see if there’s anyway he would cut it off for me early in the morning before I had to go to surgery. With all the emotion this involved, both of us forgot the fact that it was 9 o’clock on Sunday night when we texted him and that the store is closed on Monday morning. But in a few minutes, we had a response back from David that of course he would help us, he had a meeting early on his morning off but as soon as it was over, he would meet us and take the ring off and that is what he did! David was so kind and compassionate through all of this, and kept assuring me he would make it as good as new when my hand was recovered, and the swelling was gone. I just got my ring back a few days ago and it looks like new and he even put some little Gold dots in there to help stabilize it because the ring is bigger now so that it will go over my knuckles. Through all of this, David was more like a family member or friend rather than just someone doing his job. David assured me it would all be taken care of and put back to the condition it was and he came through for me. I brought three rings to Bremer Jewelry, my engagement ring, wedding band and 10 year anniversary band. All three of them needed to be resized smaller (by about 1.5-1.75 sizes) and I wanted all of them soddered together. This was going to be time consuming task because of the number of small stones in each in ring. I had these services quoted with one other company before getting a quote at this company. Bremer Jewelry was very comparable to the other place but was cheaper by a small amount. I was VERY impressed with Katie at my price quoting visit, and Kaylie (or Katelyn or Christina…I don’t remember what her name is unfortunately) when I came back to drop off my rings and then David when I picked up my rings. Katie did a phenomenal job at explaining every step of the process should I choose to have them do the resizing and soddering and Kaylie/Katelyn/Christina did the same at drop off. David did have some issues with their credit card payment machine but he was very apologetic about it and went above and beyond to make it right, saying he didn’t want to keep wasting my time due to an issue with their machines for some error with its app. They had everything completed within the 7-10 day timeframe by having them ready for pick up on the 8th day. Every single person I interacted with at Bremer Jewelry were very nice and treated me as if I was the only person that mattered while I was in the store. I didn’t feel nearly as welcomed at the other store during my quoting and this is why I chose Bremer Jewelry to do my rings (not because they were cheaper). I knew my rings would be in good hands and trusted I would be happy with the end result because they showed me they cared. I can 100% say they exceeded my expectations and I am VERY happy with how my rings turned out. They fit perfectly, they’re soddered together and the stones are centered with each ring and everything is sparkling as if they were new again.
