I'm not a picky person i usually won't take the time to complain just chop it up to a bad meal. I ordered
Salt and pepper Calamari 2 unagi 2 Sake (salmon) 1 wonton soup.
The Calamari was semi fried The won tons tasted like they were semi cooked (texture was mushy in the middle) The salmon didn't have a nice texture. It didn't taste like good quality seafood which I've had plenty of.
I make my own homemade sushi and wontons. The pork needs to be thoroughly cooked it's mushy before you put it in the wonton. I get good quality grade sushi that doesn't taste like mush.
I decided to treat myself to a nice meal. Spent $30 threw up twice feel like it's going to be more and when i asked to get my money back she said it was procedure to get a doctor's note from the urgent care stating it was their food.
So let me get this straight i have to go spend hundreds at the urgent care so i can get 30 refunded.?
Like i said i usually don't make a stink but this was poor quality semi cooked food that actually made me physically ill and when asking for my money back i was specifically told to go to the urgent care (hundreds of dollars) and get a note stating it was specially their food so i can get 30 back. Im not strapped for cash im not trying to get money back just for kicks. I actually got ill...

I ordered the unlimited sushi lunch. It took 20 minutes to have my order taken, they never brought my salad, I ordered one roll to start and, as it was the UNLIMITED sushi lunch, I intended to order more later. They brought my first roll, and it was only 4 pieces. I ordered my second roll and, 45 minutes later, it still had not come. When I inquired about my order, they said it wasn't ready yet and they didn't know when it would be. I asked for the check, and they charged FULL PRICE ($13.95) for my four pieces of sushi.
When I asked why I was being charged full price, the waitress said because if I had ordered my four pieces of California roll a la carte, it would have been the same price. When I pointed to the California roll on the menu and its price is $6.95, she continued to insist that the $13.95 unlimited sushi lunch price was appropriate.
So, bad service, 1.5 hours for 4 pieces of sushi and a wait staff that thinks $13.95=$6.95. If this place is still open in 6 months,...
Read moreI tried Yumz twice. Once for carryout, and once for the all you can eat sushi dine in. The carryout was OK, I got salmon nigiri, salmon roll and a sweet potato roll. The rolls were decent, the nigiri was better. The rice has no flavor (ie no vinegar as typical sushi rice has). This could be a good thing for some, but I prefer vinegar and flavor on rice for sushi. I was also given fake soy sauce packets with the sushi (the colored salt water packets from Chinese takeout ), luckily I always have the real stuff at home. The all you can eat was not as good. The nigiri had very small cuts of fish (think 1/3 regular size) and a limit on nigiri. There was way too much rice on the rolls, and not enough fish. For the price, I would not recommend the all you can eat option. They do have a lot of appetizers, which adds to the value - the gyoza were good. Overall, I probably won't go back due to mediocre...
