This was an interesting experience. The first time I went in to get a controller the associate wasn’t at the front desk area so I proceeded to the PlayStation aisle and all of a sudden the associate popped out of nowhere and somewhat startled me. I asked if he had any pre-owned PlayStation controllers and he started listing the price and deals to me like a robot but super friendly, then he casually walked away without saying anything. I decided to not get it at that location. I then went to another location and I noticed two of the associates at the front desk so I went up and asked for what I needed and they had it so I bought it and everything was great. I got home plugged in the new controller. I attempted to sync the controller to my PlayStation but it wouldn’t fully turn on, the light on the controller was blinking but nothing was happening. I put the controller back into the plastic bag it came in. I then had to work for the rest of the week and I didn’t have time to go until just recently. That trip went flawless. When I got there, the associate greeted me as I entered. I explained what happened and he simply plugged the controller in realized it wouldn’t charge or turn on so he exchanged the controller with a totally awesome design partially see-through. I went home synced the controller right up to the PlayStation and it hasn’t had any issues. I appreciate every interaction I was apart of but in the end I was a happy customer. Thank...
Read moreThis review is for the Westside store as I don't really go to the east side store. Game selection is always decent. My BIG complaint is the heavier set bald guy that works there. He's always rude and acts like you're bothering him especially if you point out how two of the same game are different prices. I've been in numerous times and any time you ask a question he's always got a sarcastic answer. It's not really what he says it's more how he says it. For instance I went in tonight and noticed they had the same game but one was for ps4 and one was for ps5 and the ps5 copy was cheaper than the ps4 version which is extremely odd as usually they'd be around the same price So I asked why the price difference was the way it was and he sarcastically says because ps5 sales are down and more people buy ps4 games but the problem is that he's like that every time and i have seen other peoples reviews saying the same thing about him. I also had posted about a year ago about the lady with the face mask being rude also. It's weird because the few times I have been to the east side store they're always polite in that one so not sure what's up with the guy in the west...
Read moreHorrible customer service took my controller I paid 55 dollars for it was used COD but hey I liked it. 2 days later I finally got time e off went to try it out and realized it was broke and kid at front refused to take it back. I don't like posting bad reviews so I decided to try them again. And let my son get a game. As soon as I walked in the guy up front yelled at me cause I had my dog. I explained he is a service animal and the guy up front said they need proof... He made me go out to my car to get his vest (it was like 80 degrees outside why the dog wasn't wearing it) I walked back in showed him it and explained that there are laws against what he did. And told my son we will go across town to GameStop I requested owner to call me at the college mall location...
